Sacred 2 Fallen angel
Sacred 2 fallen angel is a different type of rpg, hosting a huge map hours long to cross(thank god for teleports), over hundreds of quests, a decent array of characters, and all the choices you can make. You choose if you wish to follow the light or shadow campaign, with the 6 characters.
Characters:
Female:
seraphim - The main character of the story, Melee is her main attack.
high elf - The Seraphim's favorite, Mage is her main attack.
Dryad - A renegade high elf, Range is her main attack.
Male:
Shadow warrior - A soldier neither dead, or alive, Melee is his main attack.
Temple guardian - A guardian of the T-energy source, Range is his main attack.
Inquisitor - A high priest of the high elves, Mage is his main attack.
The reason I say "main" attack, is because you do not need to stick with this. All charcters come equiped with spells, weapons and armour. You could give a sword to a mage, kick there ass out the door and say "go fight".
Gameplay:
Solo:
Playing by yourself is a good way to get started, learn the basics, or, play the whole game by yourself without any help at all. Your game play does not change much betweensolo, online, and multiplayer. You can stick with your main quest, or go off and do side quests, or shove all quests aside and go looking for things to kill and lvl up with. you could also try to explore the whole map, but good luck with that :P.
Multiplayer:
Playing with a friend on the same console is fun, especially when you can help each other out, you can share XP you get and lvl lower lvl's up quickly. Dis-advantage to this way of gameplay, is that if one character dies, your partner will need to stay in the screen where you died, and cant move away from it till you regenerate and run for it. Hopefully this does not happen often. In other words no character can leave the screen the other one is in. Your... dear I say it... Restricted.(you can also trade with one and other, no gold account requiered)
Online:
Online game play is great, you can play solo, or with your friend on the same console, and still have others join you! you can have 4 players join an online game. Benifits of online gameplay are you can chat, trade, and help others. Things you should know are, if you join an exsisting online game, you are helping the host of that server, if you create a server all players that join you, will be helping your campaign. Which is good to know.
You can also teleport to them, as if they were a portal, incase you get to far appart as you dont have the "In screen" restriction. A restriction you do have on game play, is lvl. This is so when you are a lvl 3, a lvl 200 cant join your game, cause that would be better or worse, depending on the players point of view. You can set the gap when creating the game to be 2, 5 or 10 lvl gap from your lvl.
PVP:
Everyones favorite thing, sadly I still dont know much about this, other then, you can equip your character with a skill that lowers the hit another person gives you... Helpful as many online players have really strong weapons.
Over all:
GET YOUR BUTT IN GEAR AND GET THAT GAME!!!, I dont describe to much of it, but seriously this is a good game, and lack of advertising reduced its sale in numbers, This game is becoming incredibly hard to find a copy of, but it is worth every penny, If you like shooters, there are guns, if you like archery, they have bows, swords yep, hammers yep, axes for those deranged horror movie people, yep.... This game is fun, especially online. I got my copy used at EB games/Gamestop for $44.99 and wouldent have it any other way.
