Mass Effect 2 (Quick Review)
Well, Now I've played the game, and cleared it having had it since the 19th..
I thought the entire game was a kickass followup of the first in the trilogy to come. There are a few tweaks and such which makes this game more realistic compared to the last one, where as they took out the MAKO (Thank God) and the whole planet exploration thing, they replaced it with mining from the ship using probes which you actually had to buy using credits, same with the ship itself, it now uses fuel, so think wisely when you first start it all out unless you wanna get in major "credit" problems. Unlike it's first game there were no fuel.
Also there's now actual ammo and such you have to find and collect on your way through the missions, no more of that "run through like a mad man firing all you want only having to worry about weapon overheating" thing. Though weapons may still overheat making the reload longer.
My overal view on this game as a whole is, it's AWESOME, it's GREAT, it's a WORTHY followup... For sure.
It's old news now though but the "relationship" angle for Shepard is
Male: SuZe, Miranda and Tali
Female: Jacob, Garrus and Thane.
I'm not gonna go through the entire game, just a quick rundown, and my review ends on the following.
Graphics: It stays true to the first game, looking even better than before in many aspects, and with no CGI videos at all in it, yet still almost looking like a movie. 10/10
Sound: Soundtrack is very solid, also staying true to the first game with suiting soundtracks throughout. 9/10
Gameplay: Well, it has a TON of replay value, sure it won't keep us all satisfied until the last Mass Effect hits but I'd say you have many many hours of great gaming experience ahead of you. 9.5/10
Overal: 9.5/10 from me.
