Here's another new IP I was really looking forward to, only to be utterly disappointed by the mehness of it all. This game has a few of the same faults as the above game, a very short length... Hell, even shorter as it took me less than 19 hours to get through the 2 discs of awful voice acting and retarded story telling.
This game feels like it could have been so much better had they taken more time and put more effort into things many people take for granted these days, such as the dialoge and voice acting. At times it was just so awful that it completely destroyed any effect the actual script might have been able to have.
The battle system gets rather repetative thanks to the poor amount of combos you can actually pull off with the single character you have direct control over through out the game. Having the option of controlling some of the other characters you amass through out the game would have made it far more interesting. The game did have its cool moments, such as taking on dungeons with multiple parties at the same time. However I think even these parts could have been better if the game supported online co-op.
For what it counts, the game does look rather good. I didn't experience much in the matter of slow down like I had heard in many of the previews/reviews of this game. Also for the most part it all very seemless, with minimal loading times, usually found only before cutscenes or teleporting to a different area.
