I had a feeling this game was gonna be like this, but i love the content they have covered in the WWII parts of the CAll of Duty series. Its another one of those games in which its got a n awesome story mode, but lacks a lil multi-player depth. By that i am refering to the enjoyment of the multiplayer. The guns are very ineffective in story, and it even worsens as far as online. I like some of the new additions of weapons, like the flamethrower. I love the blackcats level, where you are flying around in a plane and hopping from mounted gun to another to shoot down jap planes. One thing i have always hated is the lack of intelligence from the AI squad members, I'd swear they are just tryin to catch bullets in their chest like a wide reciever. Almost makes it harder with them in the way. But they tried to bandage the AI wound with a little co-op story action, which i love. Over the last couple years, the co-op story being introduced into franchises, has really added a lot more playability to some of the series.
Story: I give it a 8...Due to the fact i love the WWII theme. I also love how they continue to incorporate a split story. I think the ended the WWII franchise very well with quite a variety of changes in scenary and types of levels (like fighter pilot-ing and such)
Multi-player Versus: 6.5....Treyarch can't seem to get a fluency in online multi-player. The guns have always been very ineffective and what makes it worse is, that the players move almost halo-ish. To fast for a weak arsenal.
Multi-player Co-op: 7.5...definitely a step in the right direction, because the computer squad members are idiots and very ineffective. So its nice to have someone running along side of you with a brain.
This is a game, that once i beat the story all the way through, its a trade in. If you've played one of the call of duties from the WWII era, you've played em all.
