Oliver "My co-worker" walks in the back and says "I hate people". I turned around, and gave him the saddest look. He goes "No, I don't hate you. .. I hate "customers". I go "There you go, man." Hehe... I feel him. I HATE customers... Unless they're cool, which is RARE. Tonight at work, while I'm doing my deck scrub, this old guy comes up to the front and throws this bag on the counter. I come up being as polite as I can, and I asked "Can I help you?" He gives me this dirty ass look and says "I was in here earlier this afternoon, and asked for a patty melt without cheese, but they threw it on there anyways." I take it, and said "I'm sorry about that. I'll go make you a new one." As I was throwing it away I looked at it... THERE WAS NO FUCKING CHEESE, nor was there any sign of there being cheese on that damn sandwhich! How do I know? Because we have to melt the cheese on the sandwhich! Fucking ass... He just wanted a new fucking sandwhich. The sucky thing is, I can't go back up to him and hand it back, and tell him that he's a fucking liar. You know why???!! Because the customer is ALWAYS right! FUCK THAT NOISE! So I handed him his newly made sandwhich, and he goes "Can I have a drink for the inconvenience?" I go "Sure!" Took a small cup, slammed it on the counter, and walked away. I really hate asshole customers.

I'm getting pretty sick of being the nice employee at my work.. I don't mind people coming to me to work for them 'cuz I need the hours, but once they start getting so codependent, and expect me to just automatically do their stuff for them, it's bullshit. I don't mind if they ask me nicely to help them out, but if they assume I'm going to do it... I have my own shit to deal with at work! I don't need to do their chores as well as my own. Lazy assholes.

Well, that's how my night went. =) YEP, exciting, I know.

Man, I feel the sameeee way about people DEPENDING on me to always take their shifts. I don't mind most of the time (cus I'm poor and need the hours too), but whenever its the other way around, and ONCE IN A BLUE MOON i ask if someone can cover a shift for me, NOBODY offers to take it.... and I get screwed over and have to keep it. Just sucks.

You need to be a little more assertive and draw the line in some cases, otherwise your workmates will take advantage of you.
