My Excessive Spending
Today's Episode: How much money do you think you have spent on video games (accessories, controllers, etc.) in 2008?
This is a very scary question for me. I do not know the exact amount but I'm sure it's well over $2,000. Early last year, I bought a Playstation 3 with a couple games and some downloads, a Nintendo Wii, Wii Fit, a couple of games for that also and not to mention the classic Nintendo games that you can download onto that too. As for the 360, I think I bought most of the major releases - Gears 2, CoD, RB2, GHWT, etc. and not to mention the plastic guitars and drums. This is actually nothing compared to what I pay for my home, cell, tv, food, car and most importantly - TAXES! lol. Fortunately, I have a very good paying job that helps with my living and recreational needs... my years of hard work is certainly well worth it now.
Speaking of my job, some of you have already seen this but for those who haven't... this is my new 'addition' to my office at work:

Yes, that is my other Xbox with Xbox Live here at my work, lol. My boss gave me his old 52" TV (not HD though) and I decided to try hooking up everything to see if it could be done. The connection here is crap, watching movies on Netflix was awful and I can only imagine trying to hook up with people online. By the end of the day, I took my 360 home and gave the TV to one of my employees who really wanted it for her son... I really don't need another television.
