what should young people learn about credit cards?
Dont have one unless you know for sure you pay it back with the interest that gains it.
Have a steady job or reliable income
Do take out protection -incase you do lose your job
DO NOT OVERSPEND!!
Do not forget to pay it
In fact don't ever have one -is the safest thing to do!
Or at least dont have one til your older and wiser about money (hahaha which maybe never! we all adults still learn now, well some of you!)
Yeah i had one when i was around 20 - i wasnt working at thetime and i know i could afford somewhat back amonth-i got into a habit of spending £50 a weekend. well silly me went a lil overboard and couldnt afford the repayments-they took back the credit card and well i wasnt ever allowed one again! so i was paying that back for a year or so with no interest adding toit-i was lucky otherwise they wouldve added i know!
If you don't have the money -you dont have it , if you do -then spend it-wisely!
I don't really need one -i mean it does come in handy if your washing machine suddenly breaks or something -but i have a catologue where i can order goods(similar to owning a creditcard i guess!)
have a good day
see ya in the games
