advice on moving out
If you have moved out of your parents at any one time-what advice would you give to people who are about to do that?
First of all you gotta know can you afford it?Do you have a steady job?
with paying for rent,elec,gas,landline if necessary,water(if not included with rent)food,clothing and other essentials.
Moving out has pros and cons, yes the pros are not having to listen to mum n dads rules,dont have to be in at a certain time, you got your own private space etc.
The cons- do everything for yourself, cooking ironing and cleaning and PAYING for everything. Taking responsibility for your own actions.
Think carefully -is it really something you need to do?
I moved out when i was 17 -at this time i was given an allowance to pay for me to live in college digs. but buy my own meals.
I turned 18 and life i thought life was dull having to be in at 11pm -so i took theplunge of sharing a flat with a girl(big mistake) she was a bitch and was taking food of mineand using things without permission.
So come end of college term i was out of there -but struggled to find flats that i could afford- i found somewhere but it was temperary -2weeks -it was a roof over my head , i couldnt find anywhere but i still had to get out ,so i stayed in my friends flat -which was behind there landlords back so i had to tread carefully lol. i eventually found another place -a family rented 3 of their bedrooms out - £30 a week which covered all living costs accept food and telephone.
I enjoyed my freedom -we all do -but life does get tough if you dont have steady income coming inor things fall apart.
Even as an adult now -things have fallen apart but my parents were there to help me -which i have never had fallen out with them , i keep in touch etc. some kids fall out with their parents -those kids cant go back home and thats a shame.
see with my daughter she has just done that,wouldnt keep to my rules ,thinks money grows on trees, and if people give her things-she is there ina flash,familyto heris history -she gone live with a couple cos they were giving her fancy things-im just waiting for it to fall apart - she still wont have her privacy -well unless there weirdos and let her do whatever -anyways we all get the " I told you so's" one day in our lives.
anyways live is down - cant wait for it to come back on dammit- see you all tomorrow-feels like a week already hahahahahaha
