Game With Fame, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park/Dead By Sunrise on Halo 3: ODST & Old SBT

They were my last words from my blog saying about when I played with/against Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park/Fort Minor, It’s been 5 months since that amazingly brilliant Friday night on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. I never knew in a million years that this would happen, I thought that playing along side MS was amazing…but not only playing with MS but CB in the same year is really a dream come true to me.

Only down side to it was that it started late (My time of course), started just after 1 in the morning & didn’t finish till 3 in the morning lol…Only had 4 hours of sleep till I got up again at 7 to get ready for college lol. Stupid me I thought it would have been the same times as when MS came on at but I just read it wrong.

Anyways for Halo 3: ODST I only got to do 1 match of Firefight on Security Zone on normal which was really fun, lots of carnage & good laughs (Mostly from Chester because he was pretty funny saying about how he would kill the covenant in a certain way lol). Here’s some picture’s of the post carnage report of the team for the game plus the score of mines & Chester’s for the match, that’s my proof there so you know that I ain’t bullshitting about it lol. You can see from the pictures that Chester did pretty good lol, well in my opinion I think he did…even when he died once more than I did lol.

It was just a tad bit laggy at some bits during the match but overall the match was pretty damn good fun lol. Wish I could have had another match but didn’t get 1 more unfortunately, but it was well worth staying up just that little extra late just to play of course lol. Also when he finished up he sent a voice message & I quote

“Hey everyone this is Chester from Linkin Park & Dead By Sunrise, Thanks alot for playing with me ehhh playing some games with me for past couple hours it was a lot of fun ehh had a good time so hopefully we’ll do it again soon aye bye”

Got that message recorded onto my phone as well (That goes beside the voice message Mike Shinoda sent as well). I get two of my own very own achievement for this as well that no-one can get, I ain’t talking about getting an achievement in the game itself but a achievement in own little way in my life.

Watch video to find out about the other achievement. I found this on a LP fan site think that was nicked off myspace though lol, was surprised but happy when I seen it & gave me a big cheesy smile. Mike giving a message before he plays online & then seeing him in action but epic fails abit lol (It proberally could have been the match I was against him or on the same team, not too sure).

Playing with/against Mike Shinoda on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in June then playing along side Chester Bennington on Halo 3: ODST 5 months later in November in the same in hands down the greatest Xbox Live moment not just this year, but forever :) It will never be forgotten. I hope that they both do it again at sompoint in the future but on different games, that would be awesome :D.

Do you know how much you have spent on all your games,extras and consoles?

Is that for my 360 or everything that I’ve ever had lol?

I not too sure to be really honest with you lol, for the stuff I get for my 360 I think I proberally spent about under £500 or maybe more & that’s not just games but with the extras as well like MS points. I’m on my second 360 the now, there was nothing wrong with my first one…just that I saved cash up to get the Special Limited Edition Halo 3 Console (Which I’m happy about) & gave the 360 that I had to a friend of mine as a late birthday present since he said he wanted one plus I wasn’t going to sell it anyway if I wasn’t going to give him it lol.

See! I told you being patient would pay off! Even though you only got to play once, you still got to play with one of the coolest guys ever. I hope either one comes back and plays another game sometime, cause it was mad fun with Mike. But yeah, glad to hear u had an awesome time. =)

lol true thankx :), yeah i hope the both come back on again to play bt wi either different or better games this time...b4 hearing the news bout CB comin on i thought he would be playing MW2 (Theres a vid i know of DBS making of the album, chester & ryan playin the first MW. Thats prob made me think abit lol)

not that i don't like these artists, but why can't they have other musicians on game with fame. one band i liked was on there but i missed it because of school and when i got home and tried to type the gamertag in, it said it was invalid. later on when i checked their myspace they said they typed the wrong tag, the one i had. i've never been so pissed in my life.

Yeah would be great to have other artists that u like on it as well, it would have to be a good combo of the artist & what game their playin. For CB i had a feeling he would be playing MW2 but surprised me when it announced the ODST would be the game. Thats sucks for what happened wi u ya tho, its best to check the xbox site for it cause they always hav the info for it.

i agree. i know a few other bands i like did it but with CoD and i wouldn't play that, ever. even if it was to play with them. it would have been better if it was ODST or halo 3. next time, if that ever happens again, i will check xbox.com but at the time i was new to the whole xbox world, so i didn't know. i only went by what it said on the bands myspace. i was a noob.

lol don't worry bout it, shit happens as they say. Xbox site is always good to keep up with who's playing, when, what game & time as well. Yeah i agree i wouldn't force myelf to play wi someone wi a game i didn't like or wouldn't play ever for that matter lol

Nice. Early last month, they had Game with Fame going on with Chris Fehn of Slipknot on COD4. Too bad that my COD4 was fucked up. :P

I think As I Lay Dying and Mastodon were on GWF months ago too.

And I got that "A Wing and a Prayer" achievement last night. It was too easy.

Yeah, i had a friend play against the lead singer of Breaking Benjamin n she said that the game was pretty poor cause of all the lag & only had 1 match cause of it. Yeah heard Masodon played on F.E.A.R. 2 back in march this year. That achievement took me a few trys to get bt was on problem.
