Wii Marketing Competition..
Sooo...
Monday I left my house for the Marriot hotel in Tulsa.
Thank goodness this years state competion was at home...
So monday the first part of the morning was boring.
Assemblies...etc.
then I found out when I would be doing my presentation...
Everyone I knew was presenting around eleven..
I was the lucky one who presented at...
Twwwwooo Twentttttty....
But i was like no biggie...it gave me time to rest..
to practice my stuff a bit more..and so it worked out well..
So I walked down the hall towards the sitting area..and I was getting scoped out by
some guys whos friend was also competing...they were just trying to see if they could tell if i would be some serious competition or anything.
well I originally thought there was about ten or so people in my events..
TURNED OUT THERE WAS like 22!!!!!!!!! so thats when the pressure started to hit me.
So my time came to go to the room where the judge was.
This guy came out and greeted me..and I thought he was the judge..
And he was younger..and pretty cute..so I was like
"I'm gonna flirt with him anddd see if this helps me"
haha...sorry guys, it was an evil neccessity for personal gain at the time..
Well turns out he was the monitor. haha..oops. oh well.
so i go in and sit with the judge.
was nervous but took some deep breaths to begin..
I definitely couldnt tell what impression he had about it.
I rarely stumbled..but he seeme dlike he didnt know a larg amount about the wii..
or videogames for that matter..
So finished that..then went back to my room and slept for a bit.
then we decided to go to incredible pizza.
i got on the deal or no deal game...and won around 400 tickets through luck ahaha
and then i was on it again..and a huge group of guys form another school surrounded me and were helping mepick cases and then some of my friend splayed and so we were huddled around that for awhile.
and there was a supppper hott guy that i was standing next to...
and he ended up standing in fornt of me. and i go WOW wish people werent so freakin tall.
and he goes..im sorry sweetie. and he put his hand on me and brought me in front of him and kept his hands on me? i mean i didnt mind but some guys are extremely friendly haha..
NOW FOR THE RESULTS of the comptition..
my event was announced at the near end of the awards assembly today..
They called my name..and i went up to the stage for top 8 qualifiers...
I felt like I was going to faint frommm being nervous.
They also called 2 other people im friends with that i was competing against.
For third place..i heard my friend ash get called...and
im thinking WELL THIS IS GREAT..they arent going to put someone of the same school in again...
And then I Heard SECOND PLACE...CAMARIE........and I was like OMG OMG OMG !! :D :D :D :D
One of the best parts I must say is the fact...
that of the 22 people, which were mainly guys..
The top 3 were entirely females.
FOR GAMING.
I was like, man thats awesome..just another way for girls to step up
and say yeah, we have got our knowledge about videogames on lockdown.
It was pretty sweet.
So with that said, and with all hope that the money will be provided some way through relatives and by working a bit...
I will be traveling to Anaheim, Cali in April!!!!
Thank you to everyone who texted, called, messaged me all yesterday and today and even before then to wish me luck and encourage me.
You all are great!
Its great to finally see that something I put a lot of work and heart
into over the past few months
didnt fail me this time.
Definitely refreshing, and it really boosts my optimisim.
Its just what I needed.

i have explained it in previous blogs so i didnt feel it was neccessary to repeat it because most of the people i actually talk to on the site know about it already.
