LIVID.
Okay if anyone has had any experience with a consignment shop.
Or as a saleperson there, we gotta talk.
SO I am extremely pissed off right now.
A month ago today I gave 4 of my dresses to a consignment shop to sell for me.
Yes, I knew I wouldn't get too much, I was aware.
2 dresses were so so..the other 2 were Cache dresses.
My homecoming dress was one of them. I bought it about a few months ago.
Priced at 185$
When I brought them in, the saleswoman made a huge deal about how
because I still had a pricetag for that one, and the drsses were beautiful
and in great condition thats he would be "pricing them quite a bit higher".
In the contract it said the reserved the right to change the price.
I understand that.
My mom called today to see if the dresses had sold.
They originally priced my dress at 65$ - found out today which was an absolute COMPLETE shock.
They could have priced it SO much higher.
And goodness, she said they priced it higher?
WTF would they price it at then had it not been something they wanted.
THEN they dropped the price by 25%! I'm not even kidding.
WHAT DID THEY DO? wait like 2 days before dropping the price???
First off, its prom season. They either like screwing over their client,
or are absolute RETARDS when it comes to marketing.
I'm pullin for both of those reasons.
So yeah, I made 18$ off of it. I would have rathered donate it to goodwill.
All I know is, there is a storm that is coming towards the sales people in that store.
I'm literally going to rip them a new one.
I'm definitely going to be screaming.
I haven't been this mad in awhile, but I'm going to kill them.
I'm a very mild person, but this has me absolutely livid.
I told my mom to stand back when we go there, cause I am going to raise some hell.
and I feel I'm justified.
