R.I.P. Halo 2
For those who don't know....
Microsoft is shutting down the original Xbox Live game servers in April.
Which means all the original Xbox games that you may STILL play online will NOT be able to be played online after April...including Halo 2!
I think there's still a pretty strong following of Halo 2 players who still play online out there!
I don't know what else to say to you guys other than tough luck dude!
I mean, 90% of Xbox Live players are on MW2 anyways right?
Halo 3 isn't the most popular anymore and forget about ODST!!!
Halo 2 did launch the AAA status of Bungie and the memories of endless dorm room nights killing friends with this game may be hard for some to let go, but this is the way it has to be.
I think we should organize something...like play dates where GTP/GK players get online and play Halo 2 from now till April. I still have my copy so hopefully you guys haven't sold yours in any garage sells or trade it off to Gamestop...sinners!!! lol
Yea something like a tournament.
1. Lone Wolf
2. Team Deathmatches
3. MLG
Three tournaments you can join but you could only pick one.
Obviously I have to organize this a little better but if you guys want to take part in this or have any ideas then drop me a comment!!
