I think the multiplayer for Homefront is good. It combines the exact same controls and feel as CoD but with the gameplay and maps of Bad Company. For anyone complaining about the campaign being too short, thats because the game was originally only going to have online mode. Thats why they made it 32 player compatible. But they decided to add the campaign in at the last minute which is why its so short. I think they just underestimated the amount of people who would get game and underestimated how difficult it is to have 32 people playing together on dedicated servers so they got overwhelmed and are now paying for it. But once they get all that straightened out im sure it will be a great game.

As for Crysis 2. Its not my type of game. The campaign would be cool but i just dont care for those types of shooters. Their online is just too crazy and hectic with all the special weapons and abilities they add into it. CoD4 absolutely captivated me and really got me into that style of shooters and i dont think ill ever find anything better. CoD4 is also still IMO the greatest FPS made since Halo: Combat Evolved that i have played.

yeah Crysis 2 is a solid game so far.. i'd get that, they only need to tweek balance online like halo/cod does when the first realse games. But no lag or any probs

Yeah seems to be a pretty common topic over at the homefront forums. I think they've submitted the first patch to MS for approval and they hope to have the 'frozen xbox' problem sorted out and a few other multiplayer problems in the next week or so. I've had exactly the same problems as you, only managed about 7 games online in a few days so im just leaving it for the week and hopefully it'll all be sorted. Like you said it's a brilliant game if only they could get it working a bit more reliably.

Same thing happened to me, so i got rid of it. Get Crysis 2. Its a sweet fuckin game.

one of the main reasons why i stopped playing homefront, couldnt play becuase THQ servers suck ass! I got tired of playing for an hour then getting booted and losing everything., plus campaign was way too short.
