DOES THIS MAKE ANY SINCE TO ANYONE I THINK ONLY ONE PERSON WOULD WALK AWAY WITH 10.$

I place $20 in a box.

So do you.

Now the box contains $40, and we both know it.

I sell the box to you for $30.

And we both walk away with a $10 profit.

  just gave away his 30 dollars ! But he spent more on
  
  this damn box which is 50 dollars and ended up with

one makes 10 dollars more cause the other one loses 10 dollars... do the experiment, put 5 pieces of anything at one side and 5 to the other, considering each piece is worth ten dollars, so both sides have the same amount of money, in the end, one side is gonna end up with 60 dollars (6 pieces) and the other one is gonna end up with 40 dollars (4 pieces)

One person ended up paying $50 total, and only ended up getting a $40 box, so he lost out on $10..... while the person that sold the box gained the $10 since he only paid a total of $20 during the hole thing, and he got $30 of it back.
