okay sooo.
this blog topic seems 2 be VERY intresting. since a couple of my friends ii know have Virtual Relationships.
first things are:
a virtual Relationship and a long distant relationship are both different! just to clearify.
you have Long relationships if your girl/guy lives almost a state away from you or something. meaning the distance between you and your someone is pretty far. so in order to have long distant relationships theirs Phones ,Txt messeging for those with Qwerty phones and finaly Computer
now Virtual Relationships could work either way long distance or not.it depends on HOW your communicating with them . so lets say i live in new york and if i had a girlfriend living .uhm...idk? Canada for example then if we decide if xbox is the only way to contact with each other then that would be called Virtual Relationship. playing halo or some CoD. but then again theirs always the computer too with WoW and all those other games
IN MY Opinion.
i dont mind people having relationships in online communities. the only thing that happens often is fights and trust issues. with jealousy and all that stuff. its the common way people break up but thats a majority of problems couples face if they had a Virtual Relationship. but who are we to question peoples emotions right? i mean alot of us have considered to ask out someone from some other country or state but then out emotions and feelings tell us that it wont work out or its just to bad that they dont live where theyre from. so in reality , the blog topic just simply tests peoples commitment and their ideas to what they believe Love is.
Love is just an emotion that drives someone needing to be cared or cherished. have i ever had one? yeah but it lasted just a few months. 2-3. it wasnt because my love was that "powerful" it was simply the love i had with that person just didnt fit like a jigsaw puzzle.
