When it rains it pours... But the sun's gonna shine sometime...

Those of you who haven't been informed in my latest two blogs:

I've had the worst week of my life..

and I'm extremely heartbroken.

So to add onto the chaotic nonsense that is going on in my life -
my best friend (the one who's wedding I was in last Saturday)
and her husband were in Ohio visiting his father who is dying
(death is everywhere lately... *sigh*) and they were on the
highway on the way back in Indiana, had a freak accident, 
some motorcycles were way too close to her side of the lines 
and it was night, she was tired - she swerved to avoid them
and going about 60 or so, she lost all control of the car.. and
the car flipped several times into the ditch... they ended up
on their heads.. and I got a text saying:

"Katt, we just got into a bad car accident - the car is upside 
down.. I'm freaking out, I think we're okay but I don't know.."

(No this is not their car, I'm just showing a picture for dramatic effect!)

.....

This is my SISTER, I mean we grew up together.

I start bawling my eyes out, frantically trying to grab the phone
and call numbers to get ahold of her or family or whoever.. no 
one picks up, I was freaking out, finally got ahold of a friend of
mine and just cried for the longest time..

-Thank God, they are okay-

Her husband split his finger open, cut his knee up pretty bad, she has
nasty whiplash (neck) and a few little scratches.. but the officer that
was surveying the scene told the both of them that they have NO
CLUE how lucky they are to be alive - that he had never seen people
come out of a wreck that bad unscathed like that, let alone ALIVE.

"Driving down an old country road in Waverly, Illinois with Katie when
we were 15 years old, going about 50, it was dusk.. we had the radio
blaring as loud as it could go ... P.O.D on the radio - ALIVE-... and
the conversation was as follows...

Katt: What the f***, why can't I see anything?? My lights don't do shizznit!
Katie: Maybe have to wait for it to get a tad bit darker or somethin??
Katt: Ugh. Shit, I know there's a turn somewhere but... 
Katie: 'i FEEL SOOOO ALIIIIVEEEEEEE'
Katt: UH OH!!
Katie: Wha.....
---Brake , Brake, Brake... too late.. ---

Skiiiiid, Screeeeeeeeech, Frrrrmmmmmph, Bang...

Katt - stares over the steering column... 

-a minute later-

"HAAAHAAAHAAAHAAAHAAAHAAA...."
Katie: "Hahahahaha!!! OH MY GOD!!!! DID THAT JUST HAPPEN!?!?!"
Katt: "Haaahaaa I'm gonna peeeeee.... oh my godddddddd hahahahaa"
Katie: "Are we... dead? Haahahahahaa"

....So yeah, basically I missed the turn on this gravel road, and.. 
the car tipped halfway over on her side into a ditch.. and skidded
down about 20 feet, so when she had her accident last night,
she says she swears that she was with me again, we were 15
again, and it was that whole scene playing in her head.. 

Cuz' I'm that friggen awesome, I'm unforgetable! Bisches...

(Yes, I can be totally heartbroken and feel like ish but still attempt to be silly..)
