You know at first I thought the idea of suggested blog topics wasn't that great of an idea, but apparently if you come up with good topics then I'll blog about it.

The best vacation I went on was a cruise I took when I was 15.  It was my second cruise and it went all through the Carribbean.  There are basically three reasons why it was so amazing. 

First, I partied my ass off.  I guess I got started kind of young but I drank myself into a drunken stuper just about every single night.  The funniest thing was the night my parents found me drunk as hell in the disco.  They took me out of there and I was struggling just to stand up.  While they were lecturing me in some random area I was leaning on the wall for support and I just fell to the ground.

The next reason is a little bit more sweet.  I actually met my first love on this cruise.  While I got started with the partying at a young age I was always shy around girls, but I met a great one on this cruise, she was actually only the second girl I ever kissed.  After it was over we exchanged info and over the years kept in touch and visited.  I haven't seen her since I was 18 but sometimes when I see the discoloration on my hand where she accindently tried to put a cigarette out I can help but wonder where she is and what her life has become.

Finally, one of our stops was in Mexico, oh yeah.  Yes there was the typical Mexican drinking going on but that's not what made it so special.  I got to visit Mayan ruins which was just amazing.  I've always been fascinated by older cultures, Egypt most of all, but seeing the great achievements of such an old civilization was astounding.  I still have the pictures from this excursion and they're just beautiful.

So there you go, a break from the normal sarcasm and sillyness that is my blog.  See, I can be serious.
