What is the greatest lesson you've learned so far in life?
 

To have no regrets. It is better to try and fail, than not try at all. This applies in relationships, business or anything else that comes along in life. The one I should have learnt, but haven’t is not to be so trusting of people who will sometimes turn against you. I really cannot think of anything else.

On this day in 1947, the British government announced the vegetarians would be given extra potato rations. Feeble-wristed veggies applauded quietly.
 

In Denmark today it is Morten’s Day. It is a festive dinner of goose to remember Saint Martin who, to avoid becoming a bishop, hid in a flock of geese.
 

A cable car catches fire while being pulled through an Alpine tunnel in Austria, tragically killing 155 people on this day in 2000.
