What was your favourite arcade game?
This was Scramble. I loved that game, and I used to be able to go once round on it, although I probably couldn’t do that today.
Too busy and tired to blog yesterday, however, my oldest friend is a guy called Dave.
TODAY’S FACTS: 22nd December:
Giacomo Puccini was born on this day in 1858. He composed many famous operas such as ‘La Boheme’ and ‘Madame Butterfly’, but one of his lesser known works is actually set in the Wild West at the time of the California Gold Rush. Its title is ‘La Fanciulla del West’, which loosely translated means ‘The Girl of the Golden West’.
In relation to its size, the ordinary house spider is as much as eight times faster than an Olympic sprinter.
On a clear night, over two thousand stars are visible to the naked eye.
..."Thank you, come again"...
