Who do you consider a role model for yourself? How have they helped you?
I do not think there is any one person. Growing up I was happy to read, as long as it was something that interested me. I read The Hobbit, the Lord of the Rings and from there other fantasy stories. Within these books, good and evil were very clearly defined, although they sometimes blurred or crossed over. The hero inevitably triumphed over the villain, and also invetitably, he or she would behave in a certain way, the "right" way if you like, and I like to think these had an effect, teaching me the "right" way to behave. My father was, and still is a very important person in my life. He has been a good influence on me, teaching me the benefits of hard work, amongst many other things, so if I had to pick one person, it would be my father.
