Has the power ever gone out when finishing a level or a game frozen just when you’re finishing a level - describe your feelings/actions?
 

I only remember one occasion. It was on PGR3, and I was working my way through on platinum. I only had one cone challenge left to do. I think I needed to score something like 35,000 and I had had so many goes, it was driving me nuts. Anyone who has done this will know that you basically need to keep a combo going for the entire lap. I was finally doing it, the combo was huge, something like 60,000 and I only had two corners left. Suddenly the batteries went on my controller. I got the standard message about reconnecting it. I put new batteries in, but of course, as soon as I un-paused the game, the car skewed off into a barrier. I just sat and stared at the screen. I just couldn’t believe it. I turned it off, and didn’t put PGR back in for at least a month. The next time I did, I completed that challenge first go!
