Well, yesterday I found out my mother flew into the UK from Crete (Greece) late on Tuesday night, and is again staying with my ex. I know I have written about this before but it does put me in a very difficult situation, and again I find myself feeling guilty because I think I�m being selfish by not wanting to visit her there. If she would agree to meet on �neutral ground� it would not be an issue, but last time she refused. My relationship with my mother can be strained at the best of times, but now I�m in a new relationship and she wants to meet my new lady. Last time me and mum met up she promised my ex would be out of the house and we could have time to ourselves, but that didn�t happen of course and it was very difficult for me, and I do not want my new lady to have to be put into any situation that would make her uncomfortable. I guess I will just have to wait and see.

i think it might be time to let the grudge go,im sure your ex wont be as happy as you are if she were to meet your new lady.go meet your mum -its not often u see her

Well, if I can offer any advice, obvious as it is, do not visit your ex girlfriends place with your new lady. It wouldn't be healthy for your new relationship, and cause problems for yourself. It's tough, but if your mother can't even understand that going to your exes house is difficult to say the least, and meet you in a bar, restaurant, park area, then it may be for the best you don't meet up. Although, I would probably take my girlfriend to my exes house on the slim chance they may get into an impromptu bikini mud wrestle fight! the answers will come dude...

have you tried sitting down w/ both your ex and your mom and explaining that the girly nonsense has to got stop? you need to have a healthy relationship w/ your mother and her forcing you to meet where you're not comfortable is uncalled for. at least have a real sit down w/ your mom.

Definitely agree on the neutral ground point. Tell your mum that you love her and gently insist on neutral ground especially as the ex was present last time. Good luck! and fingers crossed for you.
