If you were given money to donate to charity-which one would you choose?
There is one charity that I have a soft spot for, and that is the Children's Miracle network. I don't know of something that upsets me more than sick children or abuse. I always donate to the CMN. Another charity I always donate to every year is the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Surviving cancer me self so many years ago makes me certain cures are close at hand for many types. Lastly, every year I always donate to Jerry's Kids...I grew up watching his telthons and even when I was just a little ankle biter I'd send a few dollars. I should also point out I do not donate to charities because it makes me feel good - I do it in hopes it will fair dinkum help people.
So last night I turn on the telly and watch the classic picture Harvey with James Stewart. What an increidbley light & fun film. Then I turned on me Xbox, and was flippping to video-1 when I saw the San Deigo/Indionappolis Playoff game. It went in to overtime, very exciting game and by the time the Chargers had one their 1st round of the playoffs, I flipped to me console and had missed an invite (Sorry Kev - but I sent you a note) and a few messages. I just thought I'd post that so no one thought I was being rude.
I played a little of of C&C3: Red Alert. man that is one cree-aa-zzy game, I mean, parachuting bears with rifles? Dolphins with lazer beams strapped to their backs? Tim Curry, Jenny McCarthy? I've honestly never seen anything quite so crazy.
Finally ... Cookie topic ... Have you ever gone clay pigeon shooting? No! I don't hunt. Also, if I were going to hunt...it wouldn't be pigeons. And if it were pigeons - I wouldn't use bloody clay to shoot them with? Krikey, what's next? Bear hunting with Silly Putty? I just don't get it.
