What do you think about the new feature to copy games to your HDD (announced at E3)?
I think it’s great. I’ve always liked the feature on me PS3. It helps games load much faster. Keep in mind, though it does place most of the game on your hard drive, you will still the disc to play the game. But honestly, quicker loading times are going to be great. My only question will be when playing online with other people who don’t have a particular game downloaded on their hard drive, what will happen? Also, for those of you still sporting the 20gb hard drive – I would seriously consider upgrading. I’m looking forward to whole new Xbox Live/Dashboard experience which is due out either at the end of this month or in Early November.
Last night I played RockBand2 with Kevin - had alot of fun. But I will tell you shiela's something - you might want to consider giving Kevin there a go - he was playing on hard or expert or something and ladies...his fingers were shocking! lol
I called it! Back on August 30th in me blog titled “name 5 things you want to do before you die” I had embedded a video of Neil E. Boyd, an Insurance salesman who sang Opera, from America’s got talent and said the following…and I quote, “this is the bloke I think should win America's Got Talent, his name is Neil E. Boyd - an insurance salesman, a genuinely nice bloke and talk about talent! This cat is amazing...”. Well, last night the winner was announced…and it was Neil E. Boyd. I know talent, and I know people! So those of you who are me friends here….just be assured I know you are great people and me instincts are dead-on! I am so proud of him and happy for him, as I am for having all of you as me friends. No wonder I stand behind all of you so unwaveringly! And of course, thank all of you for being such genuinely great people!
Origins: The phrase “doesn’t know shit from shinola” means someone is daft, or rather stupid. The phrase originates from an American product…a shoe polish that was branded “shinola”. It was an ox-blood shoe polish and knowing this reinstates the fact of the meaning of this phrase. Obviously, shit would not be helpful for your shoes, while the brown gooey “shinola” would be. If you can’t tell the difference, well you are pretty bloody dimwitted and senseless. Here is an image of the long forgotten product:
