Bloody hell. For those of me mates that kinda-know what's been going on with me & me family it hasn't been all shits & giggles lately. Me mum has had bronchial pnuemonia, followed by what we suspected was a small stroke, and then things were finally getting better. Yesterday, I got a call from me pop who was on holiday and me mum took a fall in the thunder-box trying to take a shower and snapped her ankle so badly the bottom of her foot was facing her head! She had an operation, and upon release this week (wed. or so) will be coming home, but only to be put in a nursing home for at least 2 weeks for constant therapy to heal her bones (yes more than 1 was broken) and learn how to walk again. Krikey! I bloody HATE nursing homes, and I'll have to take time from work because I refuse to let her be there unsupervised by family. My main goal is to simply get her home. Crazy times people, crazy times.
GTA4 is finally getting closer to completion for me. Thank heavens! As much as I've enjoyed playing this game, my attention span is simply to short to continue to play the same game every bloody day. Rainbow 6: Vegas 2 has been calling me name and I'm ready to jump back into the fold on that one. On top of that, there have been some good demo's on the marketplace for upcoming games. Both GRID & The BOURNE CONSIRACY were really fun demo's and I am looking forward to playing both when they are released.
