Where will I ever find the time? I love this time of year and it also drives me completely bloody batty. So many great games - so little time. I've been playing all sorts of games lately, but just in small bits because there have been so many releases. Here's a short rundown of what i think of them:
1) Gears of War 2: Excellent. So much better than the 1st one. Still waiting to play Horde with some friends though.
2) Call of Duty - World at War: Tried it on Veteran and have had me arse handed to me over & over. Played some online and had a lot of fun.
3) Midnight Club - L.A.: Amazing graphics, fun online but wow - it gets tough ... quick! I like it though.
4) Mortal Kombat vs DC: A lot of fun! Toned down from previous MK's, but I like the hero's and it's just. plain. fun.
5) Guitar Hero - World Tour: So much fun! Having some Ozzy songs and Zakk Wylde make it better for me than RockBand 2 (though I'm still digging that as well - even the AC/DC package)
6) Far Cry 2: Didn't like the last one, but this one is really good! Graphics are a-maze-ing. Huge world, virtually no load times and make-your-own-multi=player-maps from scratch!
7) Dead Space: Excellent graphics, some genuine "jump-moments" and creepy enough to make me think (and miss Dentedcmd)
8) Mirror's Edge: Different. honestly, a breath of fresh air for all the shooters and driving games. Completely original and realy fun.
9) Fallout 3: Gruesome, HUGE, and very addicting. I really am enjoying this one.
I've played some others, but those are the big one's I've been playing lately. Tonight I should be giving Need for Speed & Left for Dead a go. Both of which I have been anticipating greatly.
Now that most of the big games are out already, I can finally start to focus on me Holiday shopping. I think I'll do it over the inter-web because I hate shopping in crowds this time of year.
As for today's topic? Favourite blogs? I can't say I have any favourite's. I like reading all of me mates blogs, Davy, Kevin, Cookie,Spartan, Buckshot, Afone, MissDanii, and other's. i won't single anyone out, simply because I like checking on all of them, fair dinkum!
Well here's to tomorrow - the new Xbox Experience. I hope all goes smoothly and there are no interuptions in service (I'm not counting on it though). It does look like it's an interesting change and could be somewhat fun.
