This topic a bit tricky for me now. Just 2 years ago it would have been an easy question.
Driving games. I love 'em. Burout Revenge! & PGR 3 is still a fun favorites of mine, as well as Forza 2, DiRT, I liked both Need for Speed's as well, though the last one was ONLY fun online.
But now.....krikey, I simply can't say. I play so many different genre's now, so often. I used to hate 1st person games, but now on the 360 I love them. The Darkness is too flash, Condmned I still play once in a while Rainbow 6: Vegas is all tall poppies and Battlefield is a great game as well.
Gears I reckon is a 3rd person perspective but wow, it's a bohemeth! Fun single player, great co-op and fun deathmatches (and deathmatches are the key mind you, all I seem to do is get me arse handed to me over & over & over - yet I still come back for more 'cause it's simply fun!).
But the biggest thing is, those damned bloody achievements! I find me self picking up games I NEVER would have even thought of trying, much less paying for, all to raise me gamerscore that little bit extra. Mind you I'm no gamerscore-whore because I rarely even come close to grabbing 1000 off of any game I play, I'm simply not that talented, but I do love getting those achievements. They are good for absolutely nothing, yet they give you that slightest feeling of some sort of acomplishment.
Back to driving games, I haveto say at leasty 80% of me friends list was gathered from playing Burnout Revenge! on Live. I'm a little rubbed off on it now, but the new one is not too far off and I'm anticipating that one more than anything else at the moment.
Oh & least I forget, that damned tosser of an Hd-DVD player add-on? Peice of rotten shite! It will update every so often, but then refuse to play most of me collection unless I over the res to 480p, which of course is NOT high dev! I reccomend getting a stand alone and not wasting your $$$ on that stupid chad of a device. Come Microsoft! What's the deal?!?!?!!?!?
