Pringles? Sour Cream & Onion I suppose.
Anyway, it's been a LONG TIME since I've visited here, and since i am I'm posting. It's actually the same blog I wrote earlier today eslewhere, but since I was here.......
Not much new here. I have played the Beatles & Guitar Hero 5. The Beatles blows away G.Hero 5 in presentation, those backgrounds well....the only word that comes to mind is, well...groovy. I also love the Monty Python-esque montages throughout. But, and that's a big but (I cannot lie) it's so bloody short. Guitar Hero 5 has an amazing variety, and a much longer set of tracks. So all in all they are both worth it in the end, just completley different enough to warrent both.
Anyone watching America's Got Talent? Tonight is the finale', and I'm rooting for this sheila Barbera Peddia. She is a true gem with amazing talent, grace and is humble. If anyone recalls last year's show, I nailed the winner from his audition show! Let's see if I can start a streak (not the in the nik kind). I got a new grill. Finally, me old one finally groaned out a last creak. it was a pretty nice gas grill, but I never liked it. I like cooking with charcoal. So i got me one of those Weber's a couple bags of Kingsford and now that it's football weather, and the back porch is the same height as the living room, meaning no stairs (an inside joke for me close mates) I am getting ready to make some grilling & bar-b-q feasts!
Let's see, anything I'm looking forward to? Forza 3, C.O.D., Brutal Legend & Left 4 Dead 2. All on their way in these next months or so, which means you-all (y'all?) will probably be seeing me a bit more on Live and playing in the coming weeks.
Okay, now this one's for all of you sheila's out there. You all have all these "rules" that us men are just "supposed to know" somehow. Well, enough is enough. Seriosuly. Us good blokes (and there are a lot of us around ladies, fair dinkum) are tired of the bad sticks and so here are some of OUR OWN RULES, please pay close attention, as reading these will let you in many ways to keep a relationship good, honest and not so full of incomprehesiblity on either part. Here we go:
Rule #1: Men are NOT mind readers.
Rule #1: Learn to use the bloody seat on the dunny. You're a big girl now. If it's up, put it down. We use it up, and do you ever hear us complain when you leave it down? Think about it.
Rule #1: Sunday Sports. It's Sunday, we gather in masses. Let it be.
Rule #1: Crying is Blackmail.
Rule #1: Ask for what you want. Just to be perfectly clear...subtle hints do not work. Obvious hints do not work. Just bloody say it!
Rule #1: Yes & No are perfectly acceptable answers to most questions.
Rule #1: Anything we said 6 months ago becomes inadmissable in an argument. In fact, all comments are null & void after 7 days.
Rule #1: Honestly, really...honestly..if you think you are fat. You probably are. Don't ask us.
Rule #1: If anything we said can be taken two ways, and one of those ways makes you sad or angry...we meant it the other way!
Rule #1: You can ask us to do something. Or tell us how you want it done. Not both!
Rule #1: Us men see in only 16 colors. For example, peach is a fruit. pumkin is also fruit, and we have no idea what mauve is.
Rule #1: If you ask a question you do not want the answer to, expact an answer you won't like. Honestly.
Rule #1: Do not ask us what we're thinking unless you seriously are ready to talk about Football, Wrestling, Video Gaming, etc.
Rule #1: If we ask "what's wrong" and you say "nothing"? We will act as if nothing is wrong. Oh, yes...we know better, but it's just sooo not worth the hassle.
Hope those help, and yes I am very aware they are all listed as the #1 rule. That's because they are all our #1 rules.
Cheers everyone!
