Propaganda Games told Gamefront.de one thing

about multiplayer in their next-gen Jurassic not-so-Park
Turok (for
the PS3 and Xbox 360). You see, in the old
Turok single-player, you hunted dinosaurs, among other enemies. In multiplayer for the upcoming
Turok, you must hunt and be hunted by your competitor players. In a classic case of Russian Reversal, in this
Turok multiplayer, dinos also hunt you.
The 16-man multiplayer arenas will be teeming with prehistoric life, or as Gamefront puts it, "In addition Saurier run around also in the multi-player arenas." It's hard enough to contend with gunfire
and an unhealthy appetite for human flesh - especially with
an unhealthy AI carrying the carnivores.
Gamefront revealed that these dinos will teem within the valleys and lowlands, offering a couple of tactical decisions:
- Take the high road, and hopefully the dinos don't climb mountains, but stick out like a sore thumb in plain sight of every enemy player with a scope on his gun; or
- Take the low road, and for the sake of Pete, hope the dinos are chasing someone else instead. That is a factor of the dino population, which ultimately translates to... sometimes you'll wish you took the high road instead.
Turok will set foot in European mountains and valleys in 2007 - that's how much Gamefront revealed of a release date.
