Song: Knocking on Heaven's Door | Album: Use Your Illusion II (1991)
What can be said that hasn't been said before? Guns N Roses are that awesome. In 1991, they released a cover song that had first hit airwaves in 1973 by singer/songwriter Bob Dylan, and also had been covered by British singer Eric Clapton before them. This had a following before that song already. They had to make it they're own. And they did just that. Enjoy my special two edition of these blogs.
Song: Return to Innocence | Album: The Cross of Changes (1994)
Remember those Pure Moods commericals back in the early 90s? Or that song playing on My So-Called Life? This song pretty much every where. You couldn't turn a channel without hearing the tribal chanting from this song by group, Enigma. It was peaceful, relaxing and everything fresh that makes New Age remarkable. Enya is another favorite artist of mine. Just because I like all things Sex, Drinking and Rock N Roll, not much for drugs, doesn't mean I have to ignore other great artist from different genres. That's just not me.
