What is the best short term and long term solution to the current energy crunch?
The solution to the energy crunch is clear. To do that we must stop using energy. All those advances in technology have caused the problem. Stop all cars. Shut all computers down. No more Xbox 360. No more Xbox Live. Light bulbs are bad. Fire is good. Let's go back to the old days of letter writing by candle light. If you want to stalk someone, do it the old fashioned way. You get out. You stalk their homes. None of this e-mail harassment. That's just the lazy way and it wastes energy. The following started as another reason why we should abandon computers, but then it took on a life of its own.
If you want to see a nude woman don't go online and type "nude woman" on your computer and images of varying quality show up. You know what that is, Lazy, lazy, lazy. Back in my era if you wanted to see a nude woman and didn't have access to an actual one, you had go to a local candy store. When you went inside that candy store you had to start looking at all the magazines the store had to sell. You started with magazines that are intended for a general audience, magazines that you didn't give a damn about at the moment. Then you start inching toward the magazines that you have interest in, the ones for adults only, which is kind of a laugh considering what's inside them.. The entire time this is happening you are nervous as all hell. You think about walking out and abandoning your mission, but you have waited too long for this day and you are going to finish the mission. You see a magazine called Playboy and you think that's the one to get because that's the one everyone talks about it. That old joke that everyone gets it for the articles rings in your head. Then after standing there for what seems like an eternity, you get your money ready before you pick up the magazine. The last thing you want to do is waste time reaching for your money. You pick that magazine up and it is a little scary holding it. Then after a tense sweaty process you pay for the magazine and walk out. You feel relief at escaping, but there is a second part of that mission that needs to be carried out. You need to get to a secure location and finally see what everyone is talking about. When you get to that location, you start looking through that issue of Playboy. You find as you look through the issue that there are good parts to it, the stuff you hoped to see is in there. You also realize the sad sombering fact that Playboy is really mostly made up of articles. It actually is a real magazine that uses the female body to trick you into buying it.
Another solution is to find new sources of energy. Everyday you have men and women who work out obsessively. I say we take this fact and use that to make energy. Hook these people up with wires to harness the energy that these people are wasting. Lets do the same with male teens. Let's gather their energy when they are....come on, I don't have to say it. You know what I mean. I tire of this bit and I am ending it.
