Not much has changed since the last blog. I'm still waiting to move into my new home. Won't be too much longer, and then I can get myself settled and hopefully get everything straight. My search for a job (well, if you can call it a search) is going okay. The first place I was looking at, unfortunately had hired a guy not long before I enquired. However, the guy who owns the company, who's name is Mick, has been asking about me and it looks like I could be offered something from him in the next few weeks. The second place, I'm gonna phone up on Monday and see if I can get an application form. A guy who works there has told me that they are looking for people, and that I should ring them and ask about the job. Both of the jobs are local to my parents house, but will require a pretty long ride from my new home, when I get there.
I'm eager to find work as soon as possible. The uphevel has left me with a cash-flow problem. In the last three months of the year too. Y'know, the three months were we get a huge array of games to buy and play? Not to mention there is Christmas coming up too. My gaming purchases will have to be put on hold for now. Hell, even when I get work I'mma not be concentrating on getting back on Live. Not immediately anywhere. I've got my sets on something a little bigger. A friend of my dad, called Andy, has a 1200cc unrestricted Kawasaki Ninja. He spent alot of money on it and barely rode it. Then someone tried to steal it and messed up the electronics. Andy decided to hotwire the bike and now it needs repaired to get it going again. A couple of hundred for the repairs and it's gonna be in great condition. He's also said that if I want it (to keep it, not to fix and sell) that'll he'll sell it to me for a great price. So I said yeah, and now I just need to gather the moolah and I'm good! Obviously it'll be a while before I'm riding that thing legally, licenses and all, but hell, I can't wait to get it.
Apart from that, I can't wait to get back on Live. I find myself barely playing on the Xbox now that the essence of the console has gone. The challenge is gone... there's no Crap-Talkin'-Crap-Player to stomp, no laughs, jokes. Needless to say, getting on Live is very high on my list and the sooner the better. I'd be great if I could find a connection around here, even if just for a little while, but nada, zilch, nothing. There may be something up at my new place, I'll be going up tomorrow, so I think I can have a quick search while I'm moving things up there. If not, then it's gonna be a while before I'm back online. I still haven't got around to phoning MS, but I'll have to do it soon as I fear they may freeze my account or something.
As usual, I hope everyone is doing well!
Stay Good and Stay Happy.
I'mma stay reading the blogs.
