Yesterdays And Todays Blog
I was mid-way through writing my blog yesterday when I felt the need for a colour change. I like the pale blue, and the pale green and wanted a pale red. They don't have one on the main colour chart though so I had to click "more colours" Doing this brought up the pop-up warning under the bar and I right-clicked it to allow the page. For some reason I assumed it was going to open the page outright, but nope, instead it decided to just.. refresh, and deleted what I had wrote.
I've come to the conclusion that it's time for me to move on. I know I decided to stay here and do this until I could, but at this point, mood-swings on her part of causing a conflict of ideas. On one hand I don't want to drop this, and the fairly easy life that accompanies it. But on the flip-side of the coin, I really want to start doing something with myself, just get my own place, work properly, live more independantly. And thus, I came to the conclusion that I am going to do this within the first half (at the lastest) of next year. The search for work begins in January and once I've got myself set up and such I can work around the rest of the details.
I never really went on a "date" I'm not entirely sure how that works, but it seems I just get thrown into a relationship whenever I get closer to someone, I've established that this doesn't work for me and that I shouldn't allow myself into that without thinking it all the way through. I tend to roll with the punches and just let things happen to me. Lazy, yes, but it's worked for me up until now. Anyway, the last place I went with my ex, was to see Die Hard 4, it was loud, very loud, the theatre was practically empty, which was a good thing I guess. Though when it had finished it was pouring down with rain and I got soaked, wasn't all that great. Die Hard 4 in itself is a mediocre film.
I'm not a big fan of sports, honestly, I can find many more things to do than watch a group of dudes, running up and down a pitch, kicking, throwing, chasing a ball. I don't get the appeal of it. I mean, I'm probably the minority here, but still, seems a little weird to me. As far as I go for wanting a team to do well is England in the World Cup. Hell, Euro 2*** doesn't concern me. Just the World Cup, and one day we'll bring it home... and I won't give a crap... haha.
I managed to sleep all the way through yesterday afternoon and all the way through the night to wake up at 7am. I'm pretty proud of myself, that's the best nights sleep I've had in a long time and I'm feeling great. Yesterday my Metal Ger Portable Ops came yesterday, but my Mem. Card didn't, I was p*ssed, because you need the card to play the damn game :S Well right this minute my memory card arrived too, YAY. Now I can play the game, love it and start my collection of PSP titles. But right now I think I'm gonna jump on to COD4.
I went on COD yesterday, planning on playing Search and Destroy. Accidently picked Hardcore Deathmatch, and coincidentally arrived in a game with Cookie, jimjo and Unrated. I'd say I did pretty well, though the Domination games I played when I joined up with them sucked... I always have trouble with that game type. Sabotage is a good one to play to get a load of kills. I think I'll see who's online and then decide what to play. I've got a movie to watch later, I slept through so didn't get the chance yet, but I'm looking forward to it, probably later tonight.
I've seen a lot of poetry on people's blogs lately. Is it national poetry month somewhere? Do I gotta throw in my own creation of rhythmic genius? I'll give it a shot...
