So I've started this twice already. The first time the page was accidently made to go back to the main GTP site. I have no idea why but it annoyed me after I wrote quite a bit. I didn't mind though, accidents happen, all-be-it, more frequently to me but still. Then as I was re-writing it again for the error box came up and shut the window down. Which has annoyed me. I really need to do something about this PC's I.E. error, but I don't know where to start and Microsoft are not helping at all. I've re-installed the thing and even rolled back to an earlier version but to no avail.
Let me get to the point right now. My lastest played games in Halo3 are not saving to my harddrive. Or they are, but they're not saving permanently. As I understand it they save the last 25videos which is over-written when you play a new games (over the oldest) For some reason though my 360 isn't storing them properly or something because after my 360 has been turned off and back on and I go to look at them they're not there. None of them, the whole folder is a blank. Can someone check after they first put on Halo and see if their last videos are still there. So I can try to work out what the hell is going on my with my console. Thank you.
Which brings me to another point. There are no screenshots in this blog. I would love to put some up but as stated I can't check back the footage of my games because it's not saving them. Anyways I do have one picture but it's not from Halo3, more PGR4. And as I look at it I see a flaw in Screenshots from racings games.
When I took that shot I was attempting to turn the corner normally. The snowy weather made me lose control and I drifted amazingly well around the corner. Now that is what is happening in the screenshot. But when I look at it now, it just looks as though the car is parked close to the barrier and nothing exciting is happening... sucks. Which is the reason I need to get my hands on a new DVD Recorder. It would be a lot better if I could show y'all how I drive, and drift on this game. I happen to think I'm very good and like to show off my driving. Yes I know I'm cocky when I play the game, but it's only because I suck at Halo :-D Speaking of Halo3... again
I hate it I hate it I HATE IT. I swear to god that game is THEE most frustrating thing I've ever played. I know that it's not the first time I've said that and I don't care if I'm repeating myself, I HATE IT. When the game came out and I started playing for the first few days, I was kicking ass. I was climbing the level-ladder at a pretty good rate. And then all of a sudden I came to a halt. Everyone got good, and I don't mean on par, I mean good. It was like everyone got told a secret to playing that I didn't hear and no one wants to share. The beatdown thing annoys me more than anything. I can imagine the dudes at Bungie sat around and then one of them saying "Hey, lets put in a messed up beatdown system and see how many people we can drive crazy" Well, I AM ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE! If I saw a member of Bungie in the street I'd kick him in the nuts just to get some kind of retribution. I kinda got thrown in at the deep end today when I woke up. I got sent an invite and put Halo on. Wuch started up the Team Slayer and I got messed up. I got ONE kill the whole game after many many attempts to get more. Unfortunately my death count was slightly higher than my kill count and we lost the game. My one kill brought about a little satisfaction as I stood above his body and called him a "Bitch" And I don't normally be swearing at people, that's how frustrated I was.
In what may seem like a circle to some. We're going moving on... or back, to PGR. I didn't feel like playing online today. I only really play with Wuch and Cookie, Heffer and rarely Mr Rocket online these days anyway. So I figured I'd continue the career I started many moons ago. Championship qualifier. Finished releatively easy. First race of the championship and I was winning with second place pretty close behind me. And THEN the computer spins me out. I wasn't all that bothered about it, until it did the same thing three more times. After that I just quit career and went on to Arcade. I decided to go for the Gold on the ones I was doing and managed to finish 2.5 chapters before my batteries in my controller died. Normally I'm prepared for this as I have a spare set of rechargable batteries that tend to be ready incase the others die... but they weren't, which is pretty much while I'm sat here writting this junk. Anyway, I will be going back to it the second I'm done writting this blog.
I can't wait for Friday. COD4. Not because I'm all that excited about the game but because I need something to keep my occupied for a week, something new and fresh that I haven't played before. The COD franchise is new to me and it'll be an experience... good or bad... mind you, it can't be any worse than my current Halo experiences. And even then it only has to keep me occupied for 7days and then POW. The game I've been waiting for, for the longest time is released. I've mentioned it before, I'll mention it again. and no doubt again as the next week and a half go by... ASSASSIN'S CREED. The game footage looks awesome, and I'm anxious to play it, but good things come to all those who wait.
I love stealth games. Which is why I'm so damn excited about this. Splinter Cell games, Hitman and even to a lesser-extent... Tenchu. I'm also looking forward to the new Splinter Cell game. Though with the change to gameplay, I don't know If it's gonna continue to be one of my favourite games. Give it a chance though no doubt. Splinter Cell, the original was awesome. I loved getting through that game without being detected, it took a hell of a long time to master. Pandora's Tomorrow was easy in comparison. Chaos Theory I mastered, 100% on every single level and the multiplayer was awesome. Double Agent was a good single player, but the multiplayer game is basic as hell and I don't like it. If Conviction doesn't bring it back to the last two's style then I'mma be pissed about it. I can't wait for the next Hitman game either. Have you noticed how on Bioshock you can't sneak up behind people? The develop some kind of sixth sense and turn around and pop you before you can melee them. That kinda thing annoys me to no end... which reminds me, I still need to finish that game... I'm not all that interested in it... said that before, not a thing has changed.
Okay, that's all I got for now. As for the topic up there. Five things I'd like to learn? I'll settle for one. I WANT TO LEARN HOW TO USE THE BEATDOWN EFFECTIVELY ON HALO. If I could play a game where I wasn't magically beat down by an opponent AFTER he should've died. I'd die happy, Thanks for reading and have a nice night.
AnFonE - P.S. Finally managed to finish this without an error :D
