My aunt is apparently better recovered, in a good condition (Good condition for her conditions that is) and should be able to come home tomorrow. That is, if something doesn't mess that up for her, things like not being able to keep her food down, her falling over, etc etc. Either way, my two weeks are up, I thoroughly(?) enjoyed them, the silence, the sleeping, the games (FPS' not so much) the being able to sleep when I wanted knowing I'm not gonna have to wake up and have to do some small task before resuming said sleep. I had a good run, and now that she's feeling better, it might be a little easier to cope with. We shall see..
Problems arose(?) (I really can't spell today, so yeah if my grammar is a little "off", sorry.) with my "New Game Funds" and because of which, I cannot get my Civilization game just yet. When I found out, I felt like kicking something, but I knew that'd just hurt me more than that... (Unless I kicked my brother, but he wouldn't appreciate it), so decided against it. But still, was looking forward to getting it. As soon as I find out what's going on with my bank, I shall be good. No doubt I'll play the demo quite a bit until I get the game. Speaking of which, last blog, wrote about how I cannot get the hang of the game. no sooner had I posted that, when I became dominant ruler and took another's city. First place! Awesome.
Speaking of games, back to playing Splinter Cell. I played a little when I got the games back. Played some more the other day and now I'm gonna play some more, erm.. more. The game is pretty linear, you can only go where you need to go. But that all changes with "Chaos Theory". CT is the cream of the crop, best of the best, peak of the mountain! Great story, awesome layout, superb Co-Op and engaging Multiplayer modes. The game takes all that makes the sequels great, and improves on them. But what I like most of all is the humour in the games.
Apart from the funny things Sam says when he's taking people hostage, there's a funny running joke about Ninja's where a Solider has a friend in the first game (Regular gaurd) who told him, he saw a Ninja. He tells someone this in the second game, and in the third game the same guy just happens to be on duty, talking to another guy about this "Ninja" (Sam). When you catch him at that point he wants you to kill him Ninja style, really made me laugh first time though. Sams dark humour is kinda like my own too, Sam is the coolest Spy ever. Solid Snake, James Bond and Michelle from GT4. Eat your heart out!
Hope everyone is having a nice day.
