   I fell alseep yesterday afternoon for 3hours, woke up at around 8pm and haven't slept since. I hate it when that happens, one minute I was sat there next thing I know I'm out for the count. I was up all night playing Gears of war and listening to music. At about 1am my PC decided to pack in. It was absolutely fine and then a crazy slowdown thing hit, my pages froze, music skipped and I couldn't click anything. So I just shut it off and restarted it... wouldn't start, tried again, still wouldn't. Tried to think about what to do, I know Safe Mode, that might help me figure out what's going on with this... okay, so how do I go about doing that? I know, I'll check on my PC... wait, can't do that, damnit... I just turned it on and off pressing random buttons, F1, F2, F8, F12, everything is said I could press on the screen, nope. It did boot to the login screen though, so I thought I'd have a chance to get into it, froze at that too, by this time it's driving me crazy. I kept trying and trying and trying and I finally got into my account. But it froze loading everything up. ARGH! Piece of crap. Tried again, and again. Eventually got everything loaded up and could click the start button and get the menu up.
   Initial thoughts, I've got a virus or something, so straight to the anti-virus thing. Usually takes a hour or something to do a full scan. 3hours later it had scanned 1,000 files, so just 249,000more to go. Then I had a brainwave, Ctrl + Alt + Delete. After ten minutes it popped up and I looked through the processes and found some exe file I'd never seen before. Stopped it, BINGO, back to normal. Less than 30seconds later, it had started itself again. Cancel it again, and again, you see the pattern, cancel tree, whatever that means, still didn't work. Right I'll search the exe programme and delete it after I've stopped the process. Finally sorted it, it's running okay again, but what the hell was that and did I need it? Turns out, from what I found online that it was something to do with Windows Media Player, I believe the file was called wmpnetwk.exe. It said something about sharing music with my Xbox. Considering that both my PC and Xbox are wired to my router, what had caused this to just start?
   I deleted the programme and things were fine, so back to listening to music. What the hell? it's not working.. you have to be kidding me... telling me about an error with an add-on. I can see the song playing... why can't I hear it? argh, okay, remove and install it again. Rolling back to 10 was easier so I just did that. Restarted my PC and opened a song... no sound... you gotta be kidding me, I deleted one thing and it ruined my player... or so I thought. No, actually the problem was the speakers weren't plugged in... during the slowdown issue I decided I had no need for them at the time and used the socket to charge my phone... yeah I know I'm an idiot. Plugged it in, fine.. sorted.
   As I'm writing this it keeps freezing for a split second here and there, I've no idea what's up with it now. I don't care, I haven't got the patients to try. On the plus side, Gears Of War was awesome last night.
   Decided to go and pre-order Halo3 today and see about getting my replacement card for the store. The dude at the shop told me that they're opening at 12am on the 25th until the 2am for those who are really eager to get the game as soon as it's released.. I'm not that keen, no doubt i'll be awake and have nothing else to do, but still.. 12am for a game is just overkill.

   The best practical joke I've played... I don't know, I'm not really of a practical joker. The most recent was when I got my new PDA and I got software that could control things like the TV, SKY, Videos, Radios etc with it, and I was secretely turning the TV off, and making my aunt thing the house was haunted. She would tell me about it and I'd tell her she was imagining it, until I sat in the front room and did it and she was like "see, told you i'm not crazy" and I had to look surprised as to not give it away, trying to stop myself from smirking and laughing was crazy hard. That's how she eventually caught me out, I had it going on for weeks, was funny as hell. She saw the funny side too :D

P.S. Just on a side note, i'm sick of people arguing about who was the best rapper "ever" Tupac or B.I.G. Nas Or Jay-Z. The answer is simple, it was none of the above... across... whatever... :| It was Big Pun, no doubt, too bad he couldn't stick to losing the weight and died. 

EDIT : I ALMOST FORGOT TO COPY THIS AGAIN... IT DIDN'T LOOK LIKE IT WAS GONNA UPLOAD, JUST MANAGED TO HIGHLIGHT IT AND COPY. UPLOADED ANYWAY, BUT I WOULD'VE GONE MAD IF IT HADN'T GONE UP AGAIN.
