My Thoughts.
I've had relatively good luck when it comes to dodging bullets in this life of mine. Believe me, there have been quite a few bullets dodged too. I can't remember the last time I was actually caught out on something I've done, whether it be something serious or something that I've covered up and hidden. Good luck just seems to follow me and the things I do.
I put my luck down to the amount of help I give to other people. Everyone and anyone that needs it. Friends, family, just random people along the way. If I can help, then I will, and I enjoy doing that. I don't think it's Karma or anything... but something of a good aura around me.
My harddrive which I got end of last year, messed up and with it I lost all the data on it. Pictures, Videos, music, programmes. The attempts to repair it were unsuccesful and I was basically told that I have no way of getting it sorted. It was moved on to people with more technical knowledge of harddrives and computers in general. If they couldn't fix it, they'd get the stuff from it and move it somewhere safe so I could have it back. But even that wasn't possible.
Fast forward a few weeks and it's fixed! Everything that was on it is still there, which is one hell of a relief for me. The guy who told me it was beyond repair spent alot of time getting it working for me, even though there was no gain for him in it. I'm escatic about it though.
Makes me wonder when I think about the effort put into it, how many people actually help because they can, and why people who can, don't. I sincerely believe that good things come back around and so do bad things. Not due to anything supernatural or unexplainable, but just because people remember what you do and don't do for them and word gets around. I've seen alot of people do things for the reward that it brings, or just to appear that they're someone they're not. I couldn't do that, infact I hate being noticed or rewarded for just doing something I could do. I do like being thought of as helpful and reliable though.
I picked up a wireless mouse and keyboard for my PC today, writing on it now and I gotta say, it sucks. It's smaller than the one I was using and everything just feels really close together and out of place. I keep hitting the "home" button instead of delete and end up deleting text from here. Not a fan of the mouse either, just don't want to move where I tell it to. Think I'll be switching back, hoping it works with the 360 though.
Speaking of the 360. I'm still playing GTA constantly, I've not been on the multiplayer as much as i thought I would. I love it, but the story is too compelling for me to give up on it. I've been trying for a few achievements. There is a counter-attack achievement, were you basically dodge a hit and then come back with a small combo. Takes about 3 of these to kill someone, and you got to do 10 before the 4minutes is up. I've found that the most violent people in the game are the taxi drivers. Them dudes be viscious if you hit their car! I thought it was a nice touch when I hit a taxi with a baseball bat to entice the driver to fight me (which he did) and he was arrested by the police for the disturbance. I've never seen a game where a random passer-by can be held up at gun point and led into the back of a cop car, I thought it was hilarious.
This summer weather is gorgeous, don't you all agree? It's too hot for me to be sat outside in it for a long amount of time, but it's still nice. Had to lose the hair for the summer, nothing fresher than having a shaved head when the sun is shining, and I don't have to worry about the dye from my jeans running on to my white trainers because the possibility of rain appearing is LOW. Love summer.
The weather isn't helping my aunt much, she's been told she's got some kidney problem, and the heat is making it very difficult for her to breathe to the point where she can barely finish a sentence without nearly choking from the lack of air. It's kinda disturbing to see, but what can you do? I've got a diabetic aunt who refuses insulin and treatment for many of her other illnesses. Her philosophy is "If I Die, I Die", not much anyone else can do about it.
Last Summer, I was walking from town with my mum and sister, through a carpark near some old houses that were being stripped by builders and ready for demolishment. As we walked across the carpark one guy Wolf Whistled at one of them two and in a moment of slick thinking I shouted "Thank You" back at him, to which I got the rather angry reply "Not You, You Gay Bastard" It had my sis, mother and the other builders laughing their asses off, classic comedy.
Things That Are Getting Old - People who feel that their family is always innocent and never do anything wrong. I hate when someone defends their kids actions, like they didn't know what they were doing or it was an accident. There was a fire fight in London recently when a guy was holed up in a house and got involved in a shoot out with police. Which ultimately resulted in his death. Now I'm reading that HIS FAMILY WANT ANSWERS TO HOW HE MET HIS END, Are you kidding me? There is even an investigation about this! I don't understand this at all. When you shoot at police and they shoot back, someone tends to end up dead. It's ridiculous that this guy commits a crime, pays the price for it and everyone who put their life on the line to protect the civillians of this country are being investigated for it.
I'll throw in a little fact about me too. I never leave the house without my keys, phone, headphones, a hat on and double-sided tape. Because I wear baggy jeans, they tend to slip under my shoes and get ruined fairly quickly. About a year or two back I was in town and had a brainwave. I bought a few rolls of Double-Sided tape, ripped a strip off and stuck it to my trainers, peeled the other side off and stuck my jeans to my trainers. Worked a treat and I've done it ever since. I always make sure I'm stocked up on the tape.
Okay, so before I'm done here. Here's a song from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Californication. I remember when this song come out and saw the video which is Video-Game styled with the band as characters. Awesome, Enjoy (not on auto-play)
