I am very happy with myself. As a person I think I'm a pretty good guy. I'm happy with my outlook on life, I'm glad I can look at the good side of the bad things that have been going on through my life. I am confortable with how I look, how I act and interact with people. Not to mention I think I'm funny. I think it's important to be happy with yourself. No one will ever do more for you than yourself and I believe that you should always be yourself, even if people will dislike you for it. I can honestly say that I wouldn't change a thing about me. I love being who I am. flaws and all.
On to the main features of this blog, So I got my remote and after about a hour realised a fatal flaw in the concept. The DVD player only records in 50hz, which is weird in itself. But I have had the thing about two years. Anyway, considering most Xbox games these days record in 60hz, it would ONLY record in black and white which is a huge problem considering I like and want colour when I play and when I when I watch it back. So that whole idea is out the window, but I may just end up picking another DVD Recorder up when I get some spare cash.
I decided to do something nice for my dad and get him an early christmas present. I've never been one for buying things for people. Not in the way of "this is my money and I'm not wasting it on other people" but more, "I don't know if they'll like this" and I don't like the whole waiting for a reaction thing you're supposed to do. "Here, from me... well.... do you like it?" Same thing from the other side of the tracks too though, I don't like people buying things for me. I never know what to say, thank you seems a little ungrateful. My dad is pretty big on fishing, I can't stand it but that's the direction I'm heading in for the gift. A new pole. Which is exactly what is setting me back a couple of hundred in two weeks. Then I gotta get something for my mother's christmas present and then after that it all goes on my niece's gifts. AND THEN, I can finally save up for my TV. I swear to god I'll die before I have that thing. I'm just not motivated enough to keep a hold of large amounts of money. Especially now with all the games coming out for Christamas.
What else? Oh yeah, last night I was playing Halo3 and PGR4 with Wuch. We did pretty well, won some, lost some. We'll start with PGR4. If you have played it online, tell me something. Have you been removed from the game because of your nationality? I'm English, I love the fact that I'm English. I can honestly say I have nothing against any country or their citizens. So when I'm playing I let anyone play in my room with me as long as they have the right attitude. Last night I was in charge of our party. Consisting of me and Wuch. I had a game and then left it, returning back and finding another host in control, who was in the room when I ruled it. Anyway, he booted Wuch for being american. Naturally I left and joined up again. We got into an American game, and everything seemed to be fine. We were playing and then I said "Damnit" Literally ALL I said and the dude said, "I didn't know we had a british guy in here" or something to that effect. After the race he booted me. I was pretty damn annoyed about it becuase it's not like I was saying all that much. I ended up sending a message to him, saying something along the lines of "Y'know you could've just told me you didn't like the English and asked me to leave and I would've accepted your bigory attitude and left. But instead you choose to use force and remove me,thus showing that tolerance is still not part of the american vocabulary" He ended up going offline after that and I never got a reply. Soon after I went to Halo3 and played some Team Tactic with Wuch and High-Pitched-Heffer (Just playing :D) who soon went offline and left me and Wuch to our Double Team devices. We did okay, came close to winning a few times, but I got some cool pictures if y'all wanna see? No? Well here they are anyway.
We rain rockets on our enemies, and sometimes our own people. Look (Below)
Slaughtered him in mid-air with a long distance rocket. Beautiful! And now some snipering.
Came round the corner and popped this guy in the dead, one bullet you dead. I even beat him down for good measure. Not necessary though. And then on to my next victim.
Wuch thought he could go round and pick of my dudes without me noticing. Took my time with this shot. DEAD. That's how I roll. And now the feature presentation slide show.
Yeah I'm pretty much screwed. I jumped right next to this barrel and the rocket is coming right for me. Please bubble shield, DEPLOY!
The rocket vanishes for a second, where did it go? I don't know, better stay behind my barrel. See my bubble shield still undeployed in mid air? And...
The Bubble Shield deploys and pushes the fire back. Hooray! And finally...
There is a huge fireball. I've just noticed the barrel is knocked over in the picture above, the bubble must've pushed it back up or something cause I'm still cowering behind it like a sissy. Awesome shots If I do say so myself. Lost the game by one kill I think, I did pretty well in this game too.
