Do people spend too much time & money on social status & beauty?
Since I'm not longer able to get on Live and game with you fine people, I figured I'd mess with the topics and keep my head firmly stuck in with the Bloggers, make sure I have at least some kinda presence here, y'all will be less likely to forget me that way huh? Haha.
I do think alot of people are far too concerned with the way they look. I know a few people who literally spend hours in the morning to get ready before they'll leave the house. They spend even longer to get ready for a night out, It's utter craziness really, I also think it's kinda misleading, they look completely different when they're dressed up and done over to that extent, if you saw her without her make up and then again with it, you'd not recognise her. I was always making fun of her for it
Celebrities and such though, that's their whole thing, they need to look good, their careers and lifestyles depend on it.
My cousin was in town on Friday night and ended up getting the crapped kicked out of him by a group of lads in the toilet or a night club. Broke his nose, and hurt his back and such, proper mess apparently. He's a quiet guy normally too, not entirely sure what started it. He was out with my sister, and his older sister and cousin. We believe his older sister (who runs her mouth alot) said something and got at him through association.
A friend of my sistsers were sitting at the bar in the local cinema complex with her friend. Her friend seen this guy she liked and went to ask him out. The guy told her he didn't like her, but fancied her friend. This girl wasn't cool with the rejection, asked my sisters friend if she was going to the toilet with her. She did, and the girl proceeded to beat the hell outta of her because this guy liked her.
This girl (K) is also a bit of a slut, and gets around alot. It's pretty common knowledge that she's easy too. I'm always telling her she's a whore when she's here talking about guys she's been with, with my sister. It perplexes me how this girl gets her self-esteem. But anyway, her "getting around" is also her downfall. As it appears now she could have AIDS. A friend of hers asked her if she slept with a specific guy, she denies it, but she did, (she told my sister) well, turns out that this guy does have AIDS, and she couldve possibly contracted it. She's been tested for it and is awaiting the results. Won't be a shock to me if she got it, or anyone else for that matter.
Alotta crap happening
Not much is happening with my personally though. I'm just waiting really, getting everything together, sorting my stuff out and hoping to be settled within the next few weeks. That's not solid, I could be here for a long time, knowing my luck. As long as I can find something to keep myself busy then I'm happy. That was always a problem when I was at my aunts, I never really had anything else to do other than await her needing something. Wasting my days away. I'm glad I'm out of that situation. I need to get work and fund my gaming, TV, Net, Live. In that order.
Anyone got any tips on how to get good at Guitar Hero? I can't use the damn thing.
