Lesson(s) Learned and Thoughts In Words.
"With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility" That is the greatest lesson I've ever learned, oh wait, I'm sorry. That wasn't my lesson. That was Spidermans. Okay, so my lesson... my lesson. I wouldn't say the greatest lesson I've learned, but a lesson I've learned none-the-less would be "nice guys finish last" Which is definitely something I've found to be true. Whether it be people trying to use you as a doormat and attempting to walk all over you. Actualliy, while I'm writing this, I'll go one further and put a few lessons learned by myself up.
I guess the first one would be "Don't take anything at face value" This goes for people and situations alike. You should always make sure you know exactly what is going on around you before you try to make a comment or say something. Getting the wrong end of the stick can land you in deep water. Even if you weren't a factor in the original problem, scenario, etc.
"Don't take life so seriously" Is something I hold on to tightly. So many times I've heard that people are unhappy with the way their lives are going. How they hate their jobs, friends are two faced, family on their case, and all things inbetween. They walk around with a scowl on their face, angry and upset with everything. They take things to heart and don't look on the light side of life. That's the wrong way to go through your days and will only lead to some stress induced health issues.
"You only have one life, live it they way you want to" This one speaks for itself. Why live your life to someone elses design? Someone said in a blog the other week about how everyone follows the same path, how we're all doing the same thing and in essence sacrificing being different from everyone else in this rat race. I think the way he worded it was a little insulting, but I agree to a degree. I think you should always strive to do things you want to do, live life how you want to and especially do things that you wouldn't normally do, or that are not the status quo. "Live everyday like it was your last" Also applies to this.
Hmmm, what else could I say... "What goes around, comes around" Also speaks volumes. I highly believe that you should "Treat others how you want to be treated" I like the thought of Karma. I'm not entirely sure it's a real force in this world like some believe, but I've seen countless cases of people getting what they deserve, and good things coming back around to good people. I've done enough things in my life and to be living how I'm living now is like a stroke of luck, or... Good Karma, which ever way you want to look at it.
I could go on and on about lifes lessons but I'm not entirely sure I'm making sense as I write this. I do know y'all probably don't want to be reading it. But there is a little more to go into this blog before I call it a night.
I realised after my last blog that I failed to mention Assassin's Creed. So I'm making up for it now. So close to this game now. Thursday if COD4 was anything to go by. And then I'm back to one of my favourite genres. Stealth. Y'all won't be seeing me on COD very much after the 15th... Not until I've played that game to death anyway. This is going to be the game of the year for me. There is just one thing I hope for from this game is that it doesn't end when you finish the story. I hate games like that, seriously. Especially in an open city like Assassin's Creed is. I want a steady supply of contracts, people to sneak up and kill and gaurds to avoid. I seriously want this game. More than anything and everything that's ever been brought out before.
So my partna-in-crime, Mr Wuch, told me late last night that the people at Bungie are looking into the whole beatdown thing on Halo3. The only other thing that I would be happy to hear other than this is that they're bringing in a sole Shotty-Sniper game, ranked or otherwise.
Anything else? Anything... at all... It's great to see that so many people are playing COD4 right now. Unfortunately there is a downfall to the release of such a great game. FPS' are generally the most popular game. And I don't mean popular among the pre-teens with high pitched voices who like to prove their masculinity by cursing a blue streak, but in general. The hype arond the game has caused so many people to buy the game. So much so that they actually began to desert other games. If anyone has tried to play PGR4 lately, you'll notice that the amount of games has significantly dropped to no more than approx 10 availbale games. Well this was the case last night and yesterday afternoon. I'm not happy about it, I love to play PGR4 but without any lobbies to join... it kinda renders the online feature useless.
Naturally I'mma be playing COD4 alot the next few days. Until Assassin's Creed that is. I enjoy playing the game with the people from GTP, so an open invite to anyone who wants to join us in a game. More fun in playing with people from the site in my opinion. No matter your age, sex or prefrence in regards to talking or staying quiet. You're welcome to play. Just let me know.
So before I drop out (and I promise I'm nearly done) I want to give a thanks to all the people I play with (again) On live. Especially Wuch lol, There you go sir, you're personal thanks.
Goodnight and thanks for reading. God I'm Good at COD4 :D

hopefully halo issues will be sorted but i dont intend to stay off that game or cod4 now- a couple of hours on each game is a must!
