I love Stand Up Comedy
Nothing can put me in a better mood than hearing some good routine
I used to watch a lot of it, but stopped as I phased out TV
Tonight I caught "Last Comic Standing" Series 2, I believe.
It's kinda like "Britains Got Talent" (although that wouldn't be apparent if you saw the kid who won)
But for Comics...
City to City, America mainly, A stop in Canada, and another in the U.K.
Two Semi-Finalists from each venue.
Finding the best talent they can.
Some funny people on that show no doubt
It's a shame they didn't show more of their stand up act though
A couple of minutes each person and they were done.
I could easily watch that stuff all night, it kinda pulls me in.
I was basically in the middle of one thing when I turned the TV on, saw it was on
And stopped what I was doing in the first place to watch it.
Worth it though, you never really know how far they're gonna go
But it would be awesome to see a a hour-long show or something from these guys.
I like the whole "Funny" thing
If you're funny, people like you more
If you can make them laugh they're alot more friendly towards you
I tend to joke alot, I've always been that way
Alot though, I really watch what I say and when I say it
I don't know how people will react to what I say, which causes me to re-think it
By which time though, the moment has passed.
It's about being comfortable I guess
I can occassionally feel intimidated which makes me lose my witt
And make me think one thing and say another
Which results in people being confused and left thinking I'm weird
It happens, believe me
All good though
Back to the point at hand though
I would love to be a Comedian
Or more, I would love to have the mindset of a comedian
It intruiges me how they come up with their stuff
How they word their stories and change their tones to sell it across to the people
I think that is challenging
And when done properly...

Good day, hot day, uneventful, but very hot.
Not a fan of Sundays, 'cause I know I gotta go out
When I'd much rather be lazing about
Doing nothing
You gotta do what you gotta do though
The sun didn't help nothing
Uncomfortable to say the least
Hot and sticky
Any longer and the soles of my shoes would've stuck to the pavement
And I'm one of those people who never really judges how hot it's going to be before hand
So I've got no drink on hand
Well, I HAD a drink on hand, but I drank it before I left
Which defeated the purpose of having it anyway
So I'm walking around parched
Looking like I've spent 40years in the desert
Slouching like the Hunter-Gatherer-Homosapian
Contemplating why the hell I insist on wearing a jacket...
I've had better days
But it was a good day
Just too hot.

 My sister's fella took his laptop back
That was a bit of an inconvenience
I liked being able to sit and watch TV in the front room
It's a novelty..
But I did see the light and realise that I don't actually "Need" one
So my short-lived quest to save up for a new laptop was quickly quashed
I'm kinda whimsy.. I'll think of something
Think it's a good idea
And then after carrying the idea out
Realise that it was a bad idea, a waste of time, and end up looking like a pratt
It's a formula, as predictable as a Horror films script
Cliche?

Speaking of which, Watched 28 Weeks later

Seriously
Just bad
I could go on like this forever
But I won't
It was terrible though
If you haven't seen it but get the option
Don't...
