For me Xbox Live was a spontaneous thing. I was sat there playing on my Xbox, bored stupid of playing the same old games in the same old way. So I thought "I'll try Xbox Live" And I set it up there and then. Thinking of a nick was the least of my worries. I was only concerned with getting online and gaming until l could play no more. I'm not very creative without a lot of thought. I tried Anthony, because it's my name no-less. But finding that it was taken I added my surname to it. So it became AnthonyLamont and I had that for over a year until I got my 360 and wanted a new account. If I knew I could just change my GamerTag, then I'd probably have done that. Instead I got my other one cancelled and set up my new one for my 360. AnFonE as in Anthony (An-Tho-Ny) Not many people get it though and read it as Anfone, pronounced An-phone? I don't correct people too much because it doesn't really matter. I was playing PGR4 at 6am this morning and some happened to mention that my GamerTag, was actually the name of the company in the Bourne films? I wouldn't know, I haven't watched them, but interesting.
I was up all last night, doing this and that, mostly on Live though. Considering what time I went to sleep, I still managed to get a great rest, so when I woke up I was feeling pretty good. I ended up spending the last two hours watching Father Of The Bride. I haven't seen that in the longest time, I think it's pretty awesome. Steve Martin is a funny guy. Love the Three Amigos too, watch that later at some point if I remember. Half way through a film, I get the urge to listen to music, it's not the most convenient time, but normally I will pause it and listen to something for a little while before going back to the film. Short attention span maybe? I don't know. It's hard for me to concentrate at times. I'm not a huge fan of SoundTraxs on EA's games. Mostly they're not my time of music and it usually gets muted. There have been a few songs I've liked though. Most Wanted introduced me to Disturbed, but it can also be attributed to StickDeath.com and the song Down With The Sickness. Anyway, on the Live 08 soundtraxs there is a song called "Toxic" by Mark Ronson Feat Tigger(?) Which is a remake of the Britney Spears song. Not a fan of Britney Spears, never have been, but I think the song on 08 is awesome, what I'm listening too.
I think PGR4 has the right idea about their soundtracks. Rap, Rock, Classical and some other genres too. It makes a change from the majority being a certain type. I listen to Rap alot, mostly when I'm at my PC and out and about. When I play on Live though I do tend to listen to classical, for two reasons. One because it still sounds great at low volume when you can barely hear it and two because I have to keep the music low to hear people talking. Classical is calming, though I'm no expert, I know what I like.
I was playing a little Team Slayer last night/this morning and I swear to god, something needs to be done about mechanics in that game. It just seems like everytime I beat someone down they survive and kill me. I assassinated like three people... or at least I thought I did. They still managed to mess me up, it drives me crazy sometimes. I might just end up going back to Halo2 because I know how the hell you beat people effectively on that and I won't suffer such injustice. Yeah, injustice, that game is criminally one-sided.
well i swear in that game i got 27 kills this dude jumped like what would be close to 10ft and stabbed me with that sword -when i go tto stabit only moves 5ft! how the hell does that work out? anyways music wise on games-the only ones i have totally enjoyed is halo music-ive never come across any music in any other game id want to listen to-halo is the most relaxing one out there although a violent game!
Lol! I hear ya buddy, something definately needs to be done about it! You should give the Bourne movies a try, they're extremely good. One of the better trilogies for sure. I'm thinkin about picking up PGR4, should i do it?
