If I Ruled The World...
I was trying to think of something to write about. Y'know, make this blog a little more worth the reading. I tend to do a little thinking about my next blog through-out the day after I've wrote one. I'll come up with something that I think would make a good read, and then, tend to forget about it before I have a chance to bring up the topic. If I had my phone I'd be able to make a note of it, but I still can't find that S.o.B.
Quite weird how the same day I cancelled my contract, the phone disappeared. Maybe they broke into my house and took it back or something? If you're reading this THREE, I'm on to you punks and I won't let this theft go unpunished. I swear, I've looked everywhere, and it's nowhere to be seen. Someone is playing a prank on me no doubt. I know I'm going to come across it one day and it'll be in the most obvious place it could possibly be in.
So I did a little thinking, and honestly, I couldn't come up with a thing. I had nothing to say, though we all know I can make "nothing" into a full page of text. I'm not sure where this is gonna end, or indeed, where it'll start, maybe the blog has already started? As far as I'm concerned, this is an overview, this texts looks good, neat and tidy.
The blog topic seems like a good way to get flowing, and incase you haven't noticed, the title of this blog "If I Ruled The World..." is a reference to the topic. If I could do anything for the rest of my life, I'd rule the world. Why? Because the only way you're going to get the truth is if you're in the power. Everything would be laid out for everyone to see, no secrets, a little dictatorship though, extreme penalties for criminals, and the like. I'd be the supreme overlord of a world government... unless that position has already been promised to someone? Anyway, as you may, or may not have noticed, the song that is playing along with this blog is directly linked to both this paragraph AND with the blog titled. The song is "If I Ruled The World" By The FSR. It gets a litte rude and crude, but I like the beat and I like the hook, so y'know, check it out and enjoy. I'll put up another on of their songs tomorrow, I think they're worth a listen. This songs pretty funny too.
I was gonna go on a government trip right about now, about the whole EU thing. But honestly, I don't see the point, I'm not going to bother complaining about it. I'm p*ssed off about it, don't get that twisted, but It doesn't help me, and it doesn't help you. But trust that if I ever see Gordon Brown, that b*stard is going to get a foot to his balls. He promised a referendum and we never go it. He's out of government on the next election and I hope someone kills the jackass.
Whilst I was looking for the EU Treaty, I managed to come across an online petition on the SUN's website. The SUN being the newspaper if you don't know already. While I was signing my name and details to this, which I advise all UK citizens to do by the way, I decided that I was going to look at other people's comments on the forums. Oh, and there were 29,000 people already on the petition. I was looking at the forum and I came across a link to a video. Now the video is hella long, and I didn't watch it, just listened. It was a guy giving a speech about certain things, and a group called "Common Purpose". It was very interesting to say the least and I think if you're interested in Government and politics and the welfare of our country, you should check it out. It's two hours long, but you don't need to watch it. Just listen while you surf or play games, whatever you do when you got the time.

Erm, okay, There is a guy on the forums (which most of you don't visit all that often) that suggested setting up a Tournament through GTP. Now, I don't think he meant officially having a page on the site, though I think that would be pretty cool. But just kind of get together to see who is the best of the best at certain games. The thread is in it's early stages but input would be pretty nice, also, go lend your support to the idea if you're interested or have any useful suggestions.
It would be cool to have a page on the site though, where we could have a record of our Tournaments, maybe a page for the "Champions" Of the game. That would be pretty cool. It would help more draw more people into the idea that's for sure. And I think I'd like being the winner of the COD tournament. Now, I wasn't thinking prize or reward or anything, but as a show of hands, how many people use Paypal? I know the idea of winning something other than recognition would interest people.
Hell, while I'm taking this idea all the way, we could set up a gambling site on it too haha, Okay, that's too far, cause I know how money causes corruption, and we'd have people taking a "dive" so that the guy (or gal) they bet on, wins. Nevermind that, but yeah, a Tournament or league would be pretty awesome.
Chances are I'm not going to finish this blog right now, I am supposed to be heading out for a few hours and was meant to leave... a hour or so ago, just haven't got around to it (damn video).
Weirdly, I was playing COD just a while ago, which is what I was doing whilst listening to music. That's not the weird part by the way. As usual I was playing consistantly well, winning all but one of my games. And I only came second on that because I was running around with a Desert Eagle. I think I played about 8games, winning seven of them, averaging about 30kills to 10deaths, give or take a little on the deaths. I was mid way through a game when I get a random message from someone I had played against. I look at it and it's a picture, I was a little confused as to why I had been sent it, and also curious to see what it was. You're not supposed to open random pictures from strangers, I saw a warning about it. Anyway, I opened it and it was a picture of some Sesame Street Teddies? Like seriously, what the hell was the deal there? Although the picture itself wasn't all that interesting, I did notice that the quality of that damn cam is great.
I'm not big on cameras, so I don't have one, I have three digital cameras and a digital camcorder, but I don't use them, no idea why I bought them, all my crap usually ends up being given to family because I have no use for it. I'm an impulse buyer... stupid. Anyway, I did see a great use for the camera last night. The Burnout Demo, Which took FOREVER to download, I swear it took damn near two hours. When you destroy another car, it shows a snapshot taken at that second, of what the destroyee looks like, the shock, anger, the "Goddamnit" face. I thought it was pretty cool. On that note, the game is really good, I advise y'all to check out the demo, I only got it to beat Cookie, we'll race soon by the way. The demonstration shows a small part of the city, one car, and it's completely free roam, you can drive around with three other people on live who have the demo, crash, race and challenge each other to special events. I love it, and can't wait for the game to come out at the end of January.

Hmmmmm. While I was in the shower I was giving more thought to this tournament thing. I mean obviously it'd be cool if we good get enough participants who actually want to play. But realistically, I can't see people being too keen on it without some kind of insentive. We need something to win, I'm thinking prize money. But how much would one consider a worthy reward? I wonder if I could find some pay-to-play Tournaments online? Just look and see how they all operate, and what the prize would work out as. Do these even go on? I wouldn't mind entering a few for COD haha. I can't see it generating much of a repsone without some kind of reward involved. We need a sponsor or something :D
Anyways, I'mma need to get ready to head out now.

P.S. Is anyone interested in some kind of tournament on Halo3 and/or COD? It could be a good way to get more people involved in the GTP Community and maybe populate the damn forums, seriously people, drop by, leave a post, say Hi, I don't know, do something. I'm lonely on there :S
