Good to see GTP is still up and running, after the last two days I thought today it was gonna be down for 24hours or something, y'know, in an attempt to top it's previous record. With that said, I'm not seeing any changes to anything, does anyone know what the maintanence was about? Where are the new blog layouts? When are they coming about and what do they look like? I need to see.
Anyway, so apart from today (Because I was sleeping) I've been getting back into Gears of War with Cookie, Dented (Sorry to hear about your 360) Y2Kevin, Jimjo and othes who happen to be about at the time. Good fun to be had by all, especially when you got the skills like I got! Also been playing me some Halo and some COD.
The other night I was playing Gears and just before I was about to get off to go to bed I got a phone call from my sister. That day I was up at her house and she was complaining of a sore leg, she thought she had a trapped nerve or something and was having difficulty walking, as you could see when she refused to make me a coffee... psssht. Anyway, so I get a phone call at around 1:30am in the morning from my sister who is in the Hospikal. Her leg was giving her too much trouble and she couldn't sleep so she went to see what the deal was. Turns out that the pain in her leg wasn't some trapped nerve, but more of a blood clot in the back of her knee. They've been giving her injections for the last three days to try and sort it out, which I think is working. The problem really was that my sister was stuck in Hospikal at 2am in the morning for another 2hours with no one there to keep her company, and I couldn't imagine it was too easy to hear that you have a blood clot. She asked me to go up, but with my Brother here, I couldn't leave him on his own and had to deny. Felt guilty that whole night, blah.
Speaking of Hospikal, my aunt is still in there, she sounds good. I'm not sure when she'll be out either. I'm surprised she's made it this long actually, last time she was in Hospikal for like a hour (supposed to stay the night) before she threw a fit and went and sat on the grass outside for like 4hours before the doctors were able to get a hold of someone to come and get her. Hilarious.
If you've read my blogs in the past, you'll know that my favourite Genre of game is Stealth. I love the sneaking, waiting, striking when they're not expecting it. The whole style and patients required is awesome. One of my favourite games are the Splinter Cell series. I've decided that I'm gonna go back and play through the four games in order (Obviously). I started the original Splinter Cell today and goddamn it's awesome, can't remember the last time I played it. After this, then Pandora Tomorrow, then my personal favourite, Chaos Theory and then as a demotion Double Agent. While I'm at it I'll drop by the Chaos Theory multiplayer and see if there's anyone still playing this masterpiece these days. Maaaan, I cannot wait until the new game is released... 2010? urgh.
From Splinter Cell to Halo. The other night, as I said, we played Gears and Halo. From that I got a few screenshots and a pretty cool video that I'mma share with y'all. It's still the undisputed Multiplayer champion, I'm sure no one can argue with that.
So with no further-a-do. Here we go.
I think Multi-Team on Halo3 is the ultimate game to play when you've got a group of people who just want to have fun and laugh. Four teams of Two, each team out to win. classic. Team work is essential. As you can see, Me and Huey have got it on lock. My stick on the guy closest and the man himself with a headshot to the other blue guy! Awesome.
But it's not all business, sometimes you gotta warm up before you get into a game, as Huey knows. Yoga gets the blood flowing, but he over did it a little on the old knee joint.
Women just don't get along very well, even when on the same team. Look, Cookie and Dented, on the same team but exchanging lead... had me laughing when I ran round the corner to see them both fighting.
And speaking of Cookie, here's a special picture just for her. Every kill I got on her, she got this view haha.
And the video I have for y'all is from out Team Objective game. My sticky throw. WoooooooooT
I am pretty proud of this one, talent. Good games too.
One more picture, courtesy of Mr Y2Kevin, talented guy with that Photo-Editing! Thanks! I appreciate it greatly. Awesome! haha
Anyway, I hope all is well with everyone from the GTP roster. I'll catch you for a game soon. Have a nice night and enjoy tomorrow.
