The reason I buy a game these days is to play Xbox Live. The last game I bought that didn't have online capabilities, that I truly enjoyed, was Assassin's Creed (Hold your comments on that). There was Bioshock, but I thought that was crap actually... (Hold your comments on that too). I buy multiplayer games, because the possibilities and unpredictabilities are endless. Gears is a prime example of such a game. The multiplayer is the best part of it. The way it works, isn't... but that's neither here nor there right now. Horde is highly enjoyable, and the classic deathmatch is as good as it was when I first played the original GoW.
It's safe to say that the story is irrelevant to me, but I did give it a yesterday. I played it until the point I fell asleep. It literally bored me to sleep. I woudln't say I'm the artistic type, I don't have an appreciation for the subtle details in games, the story isn't something that concerns me. Infact, I only really watch the video sequences as some kind of reward for finishing a level. To give myself a little time before the next. I'm not saying it's bad, nothing like that. I just don't do campaigns... or enjoy them when I do.
So the next multiplayer game for me is Left 4 Dead. For which the demo is out tomorrow on the Marketplace. I'm really looking forward to it because the game seems to share alot of similiarities with Horde. Y'all should download iiiiiiiiiiiit and let's shoot some Zombiiiiiiiiiiies?!
You wouldn't believe the relief I feel when my niece finally goes to sleep. Watching her run around like a headless chicken can give a dude a heart attack. The things she does for no reason at all, the amount of times she falls, or just misses her head on the wall or table, and things like that, puts my stomach in knots. Doesn't help that she's normally running around and screaming at the top of her lungs too, "Antny! play football player with me!" She used to call it football, but for no reason, added the player to the name, now she won't let it go. Haha, the things she says are crazy, her whole attitude and mood, is crazy. I'd rest easy if I could put her in body armour...
Meh,
Y'all have a nice day, stay good.
