Three days in a row and the weather is amazing, the sun is shinning and it would even appear that that cold breeze has decided to take the day off. A great day to be out and about by all accounts. But not me, nope, I'm stuck inside today, cleaning, straightening things up, I'm in the mood to get everything spotless. Never really been one for the sun, as you can tell by my whiter-than-white skin tone :| haha. Not that I ever see it anyways.
I read today that Bubba Sparxxx had managed to get some distribution for his next album, which has yet to be completed, named and such. To me this is great news because I love the guys music, and truly believe that Deliverance was the most underrated album of all time. Dark Days And Bright Nights was great too, and The Charm, well it was a little too mainstream for me, he kinda made it pop-like and that annoyed me. But hopefully his fourth album will take it back to the country and bring back that charm he had on the first two (mind the pun).
Upon reading the news, I looked to the comments on the site, which was full of people bashing him and his musical ability. It makes me wonder, if you're White and in rap, does that mean you lose credibility as an MC? Do you start lower on the ladder than say a black rapper? Do you have to do more to prove yourself? Because, in my opinion he has a great ability and is probably the only rapper who has actually completely told his story how it is, without having to glorify it or make himself sound "gangsta". But yet he doesn't seem to get the respect he deserves. Needless to say I'm looking forward to the next album, hopefully it will be out this year.
Short and Sweet that's the way to blog
Have a good day all.
