The one thing I fear most in life, I don't know. I'd say spiders, but I can kill them, I'd say heights, but they don't bother me. I don't give too much thought to life and the bad things that can happen. I think a slow-painful death is what I fear most. The idea of death doesn't worry me. I was born to die at some point, how or when it comes will no doubt be a result of my own actions, and if it happens, it happens. Even after I was to suffer, it'd eventually come to an end, and then there'd be nothing, and I mean that literally... Life > Death > Nothing.
I do sometimes think about the state of the world, and what it's gonna be like in the future. Not like, Demolition Man future where everything is perfect and run by corrupt politicians, although, if you take away the "Perfect" you've got a descritption of how we're living now. I personally couldn't care less about the worlds state in 30/40/50 years, I'm not really assuming I'll live that long, I'm not on a death wish or anything. After I'm gone the world could fall to hell, If things start to deteriorate rapidly BEFORE I'm gone, then I'll fix it my goddamn self, just hold it together until I'm outta here.
The problem I have with the future is what it's gonna be like for my niece. I don't want her to be living in some desolate wasteland, barely surviving and not comfortable in how she's living. I don't want terrorist attacks constantly threatening her safety, I don't want stupid goddamn jackasses in power, resorting to wiping out an entire country for their own "defense" and then recieving retaliation in the same manner.
This whole war thing is going to come back and bite us in the ass. I think it's stupid and pointless. We're gonna try and take on a country one day, that instead of listening to all this bullcrap, is just going to fire and have done with. I know I'd hate to have to countries telling me what i can and cannot do in my own land, and if they were going to punish me for it, I'd get p*ssed and no doubt lash out. And when we finally do get attacked, and I mean properly, not terrorism, it's gonna be the faults of all those in power, who are safe, hidden and well by the government. But yet, us, who suffers for it.
Oh and on that note. I saw a blog that essentially stated that every middle eastern person was a terrorist. Which i feel is completely out of order. Okay, so there is a war that is going on, started by OUR people, depending on how you look at it. And as a result of the war WE started, they all get tarred with the same brush? I think it said something along the lines of stopping immigrants from entering the country, which in itself is a joke, because the country itself was founded on such immigrants. The idea that you can claim these people are all evil because of a few men, which makes up an extremely small part of the general population, is disgusting. That's as stupid as claiming the English all drink Tea and eat Crumpets, or the americans are all fat, overweight war lovers.
I guess when you want to be loyal to your country, your eyes get closed to everything that goes on around the situation. The people in Iraq are wanting our forces out of their country. They get invaded for no reason, bombed, shot, killed daily for something they never had, and then we have nerve to claim rightousness on the matter. Most people, no matter where you're from, just want to live their lives in peace, without trouble, and yet because of a small number of people, they're not able to do so and are dying for nothing.
Okay, sorry about that... Kinda went off right there. I guess it all depends on point of view. Anyways, I've got a video for y'all.
Hopefully. this'll work. This is the video that won the COD4 contest, if y'all don't know already. It's The WoW episode of South Park edited to look like COD. It's pretty fly. Speaking of COD, I hit 55 last night, I'm not going into Prestige mode though. I don't need that fancy ensignia to show I've played the game alot. I've found that most people who have those Prestige mode medals aren't very good and have just spent a long time playing. I'm happy with having everything unlocked, no reason to mess with a system that works.
it does make me laugh on the americans think we -i mean the whoel of uk drink tea and eat crumpets -yet not all know britain is divided into countries. whereas they are states within america. anyways i hope they sort this out once n for all with iraq and that -been going on way too long -its only gonna be a matter of time before something else strikes somewhere. i hope to god they dnt
