I think my dream job would be something in music, head of my own record label would be awesome. Not that I'd want to be an artist or anything, that ain't my thing, not to mention I got absolutely no talent what-so-ever when it comes to musical ability. But to be able to search for new artists with talent and with a good style and with a positive message to put out would be the coolest thing in the world. It'd have to be in a stable financial position so that I could afford to sign people who aren't all that well known, but should be in the spotlight. Other than that, I don't mind what I'm doing, as long as I got something to help me live comfortably It don't matter.
This Halo3 waiting is getting to me more than I thought it would. Loads of people are playing it, I feel left out on that level, it's crazy. I'm a get it midnight on Thursday though so it's 28hours to go. I normally wouldn't mind, but it's just like, while I'm waiting for Halo3 I don't really wanna play anything else. I've had people already tell me that the game isn't all that and that they think only the hardcore fans of Halo will play it for more than 3weeks without getting bored. I gotta hold up and be the judge of that myself. As luck would have it, I decided to turn the TV on this morning at 6am, I don't know why, it just happened to be a random decision. The news was on and it was about the Halo3 launch. And the reporter was talking to this dude, who I assume, knew about the Games industry or something because he knew about the background of Halo and Microsoft etc. Anyway, the women actually asked him "how long do you think this fad will last?" and he said, "What Halo?" and she was like "No, the gaming fad". It annoys me when people claim that gaming is not really a proper medium and it's just some kind of phase people have. The guy laughed at her and said it was hardly a fad and went on to explain why it was much more than that, good lookin' on that man, did it justice. I don't understand why we have to wait longer than everyone else for the game, the UK game industry needs to get back on it's feet. It's ridiculous how much we get overlooked, especially by Nintendo, they are the worst offenders. How long we wait for games over here is just proof that Nintendo hates Europe. Games out in the US and Japan well over a year before they're released, if they're released at all. It's what ultimately put me off getting the Wii, which I was pretty keen on getting at the start. I guess all that don't matter now, the game of the year is nearly here and as long as my 360 don't pack in on me (like I read it did on one unfortunate GTP member, that sucks dude) I'll be happy.
All it is right now though is trying to kill the time, I'm not really into playing anything, might see if I can spend more than 15minutes playing Bioshock, oh, speaking of which, if anyone who's completed the game already is reading this, I was wondering, is their a limited number of the little girls who collect the ADAM? I swear, they seem to be all over the place right now. I don't really see the big thing about this game, it's not all that special, well not to the degree some people were making out it was.
Okay That's enough
