In what seems like a week of achievements and breaking boundaries. I, Anthony, COD-Master Of The Universe, have succeeded where even I thought I'd fail. It had previously occured to me that I had indeed, been aiming a little too high. Hoping to reach those stars that are stuck way beyond my reach. But alas, perseverence and deteminaion have helped me clear that hurdle that was causing me great agitation.
Literally for months I have been trying to reach the next level of gaming excellence. Of course, I am talking about Halo3. For a long time I've been trying to reach level 40. I've played the game to death and came close to my goal, but falling short (and usually regressing) over and over again. TONIGHT though, tonight!, I accomplished the dream.
Game after game, victory after victory, the occassional failure, which is nothing more than a 10minute delay to the grand scheme, and I was where I wanted to be. Level 40! Anyway, not to put too much emphasis on the whole thing, but this is definitely something I didn't think I'd do.... HOO-RAH!
Bourne - The Game.
So I noticed the other day that there was a new Demo on the Xbox Live Marketplace. For the life of me, I can't remember the actual name of it, but it's the name of the film too, so... y'know.. it shouldn't be hard to work out if you know of them. So to the point, I tried the first level, and the first thing I noticed was that the guy looks NOTHING like the actor in the film (Matt Damon? I'm bad with names right now).
I put that to one side and continued with the mission, it played okay, nothing special, graphics weren't all that great, gameplay was Hand on Hand combat for that particular level and the button bashing combos were uninspired.
The adrenaline meter acts was a cool feature, basically using it would finish your opponent off (except bosses) in a quick combination move. All in all, the map wasn't anything new. The second level in the demo was a shoot 'em up genre. I tried it, and hated it, I turned it off and left it alone.
Day later (yesterday) I decided to give it a try again and found that it was okay after you got used to the controls and the aiming reticule. I played through the whole thing and enjoyed it a little.
The game aspires to be a kind of "True Crimes" kinda game. A bit of the Martial Arts Combat, with Gun Shooting and Car driving action. Fightng was alright, shooting was okay but I swear, the driving was HORRIBLE!
It was super-fast, ugly, unrealistic and quite possibly the worst piece of driving I've ever encountered. There is a game which plays just like it, but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me... Either way, the game is bad! AVOID! I was looking forward to it too...
BRING ON S.C. Convictions!
That is all from me, Hope y'all have had a nice day and that all is well.
Stay Good!
