I went to see my niece yesterday morning, spend a few hours with her before heading off home. For the last few weeks she's had what appeared to be a cold or flu, or something along those lines. Y'know, bad cough, snotty nose, that kinda thing. Well since it's been like that for the last fortnight, my sister took her to the Doctors.
It would seem that it's something a little more serious than that. They have given her medication to take over the next week, then she had to go back to the Doctors to be weighed and tested, and if there are no improvements, she'll have to go see a specialist, get the camera down her throat and possibly have an op. They think there could be something wrong with her lungs. Whatever it is, it hasn't affected how she is though, she's still running around, smilin' and laughin' so all is good, and hopefully it won't be anything requiring surgery.
Man, so it was brought to my attention that the cars in Burnout, or more, the unlockable cars in Burnout are subject to region of the disc, so PAL codes won't work with the NTSC discs and vice-versa. Either way, if you're from Europe you can use this one code to get yourself the "Steel Wheels" car by entering it into the "Sponsor Code" part on the start menu. The code is "Z891 4K88 IN25 79AA" You have to use the spaces.
For the last few weeks I've been having problems with my sleep. I've somehow ended up awake all night and asleep all day, which in itself is proving to be problematic. So yesterday as I was going to sleep I devised a plan to slowly push my sleep time back a hour, it's have taken two weeks to be effective (give or take a few days) but I was confident it was going to work out. But after all my planning, it turned out to be unnecessary as I managed to sleep until 8am today and thus all is well again. Sucks that I kinda wasted a good few hours trying to think of something opposed to staying awake through the day.
Also, for some reason, I've got a slight fixation for Heavy/Death Metal. Been listening to various music from different, random artists, and I've come to the conclusion that NO ONE can understand a goddamn thing that they are saying. But to me that's the appeal, for the longest time I've been listening to Rap, Hip Hop and RnB. Listening to the words of the song, understanding what it's about (If indeed it had a point), etc. And it's kinda worn thin. I'm not off Hip Hop all together, but the loud music and unhearable screeching has proved to be somewhat of a background piece, when I'm walking or playing on Live, not too loud obviously, but still, kinda soothing.
Now I've said it before, I'll say it again, Comedy is awesome, there's alot of good stuff out these days, but nothing can touch the classics. Only Fools And Horses, One Foot In The Grave, Father Ted, Keeping Up Appearances, and such-like. So I thought I'd share a clip from an episode of Father Ted that I watched last night.
Father Ted and Dougal right a song to enter the Eurovision Song Contest so that they can beat their "rivals" who have also entered the contest and taunted them about how they couldn't win. The song didn't quite turn out the way they planned but this is what they had visioned as they slept. Another Classic Comedy Moment, Enjoy.
Have a nice day y'all.
Anthony
P.S. The Best Gift I Ever Recieved That Is The Most Precious? My Dog Tags that I never take off and have had for about 5years now, and the wedding ring of my Great Grandma, that ended up passed down to my Grandma, mother, sister. I acquired it so that I could feel somewhat of a connection to my grandparents as it is very hard to remember them, very important to me.
